I've only actually seen 1 episode of the show but I was like "What the hell?" so I decided to watch and actually enjoyed but one question:

Isn't Mitch (Hasselhoff's character) supposed to be dead?

I never followed the Hawaii episodes (the last 2 or 3 seasons), but yeah, I'm pretty sure Mitch was supposed to be dead, lol, or at least presumed dead.

I haven't watched Baywatch (reruns) since it was on USA (I refuse to watch it on TNN, lol). It just got too hoky for me towards the end of the original series.

But, the movie, honestly, was better than I thought it would be. The only real major character missing was David Chokachi's Cody (or at least *I* never saw him). It really was a pretty good movie, and seeing as the original series ended just a few years ago, it seemed like no time had passed. Geena Lee Nolin back as Neely was a huge plus, the recast was awful. Geena plays a better bitch.

The ending, though, was pretty lame, lol. C.J. (Pamela Anderson) marrying a waiter who we never even knew? Nicole Eggert (Summer) really didn't have much to say or do, but it was nice seeing her again, I at first didn't even recognize her, lol.

Sorry for the second post, but here is the plot synopsis I found at IMDB.

Mitch Buchannon didn't die in a boat explosion in the 10th season but has been recovering from amnesia in L.A. Mitch comes back to Hawaii to get married again! His new fiancé Allison resembles Lt. Stephanie Holden, a past love. Little does he know, Allison is cooperating with Mason Sato who appeared in the show's 2nd season and now returns for revenge. The Baywatchers come to Hawaii at C.J.'s invitation. She is opening CJ's Bar & Grill at the Turtle Bay Resort. Coincidentally, Caroline Holden is already in Hawaii filming a soap opera. Neely Capshaw (ex-Mrs. Buchannon) comes to stop the wedding because she wants Mitch back.

It was kinda confusing for me but good. I used to watch the show a long time ago and really enjoyed it. But for some reason stopped watching. I didn't even remember this Sato character. And I was thinking Stephanie is dead? lol It was good though. The only part I found odd, like Shawn, was CJ getting married at the end to the waitor. I was thinking it would be Mitch and Neely getting remarried. You know all that movie did for me was make me want to see and have all the episodes to Baywatch. But I loooked in the tv week and couldn't find it listed. :( Anyone know if it still airs on any channel? I know it was on cable less than two years ago but stupid me was to lazy to add another show to my "recording" list.

LOL, Angela, I thought the same thing about wanting every episode, lol. I stopped watching before the last 3 or 4 seasons, it got extremely cheesy and crappy, unlike the earlier years where it was true drama and not camped up.

It should be airing daily on TNN, I think, probably at 11am, maybe 10am. Not sure. go to http://www.tnnonline.com for a schedule, and you can search by show, too, I think.

Thanks, Shawn. :) I just checked and it does come on at 11am. Good thing for me it comes on at 2am as well, though because I'm usually recording Murder She Wrote at 11am on week days. :)

Well, neither time is really good for me, lol. I have ER at 11am and Barney Miller at 2:30. But I could probably get it at 11am since I'm awake, but having to cut out commercials on two shows at the same time may be huge work, lol.

I think a different rotation may air on the weekends. I could try that for a while, maybe, lol.

I only watched and liked seasons three and four of Baywatch, the Summer, Matt and Slade years. The reunion was good, Matt and Slade needed to be in it. Susan Anton was missing too. Whoever thought Summer and Hobie would make a couple!

Yeah, Pav, come to think of it, a LOT of castmembers were missing from the movie, but it was still good overall.

I didn't even recognize Nicole Eggert at first, and after seeing the Summer/Hobie kiss, realized who it was, and I honestly couldn't stop laughing at the thought.

I didn't realize that that was Nicole Eggert until the scene on the beach with her and Hobie. That's the scene they showed on Jimmy Kimmel but I didn't recognize her because she was either wearing too much or not enough make-up when she was on Jimmy Kimmel.

What really gets me is how all the characters know each other even though they were all from different seasons. How does Leigh know Mitch? She came after he "died" and Are we really supposed to believe that Summer still works there even though she left in 1994? Don't you think these people would get REAL jobs by now.I'm not saying that being a lifeguard isn't a real job but they've worked there for 15 years! The only ones who have moved on are C.J (Who now owns a bar),Lani (Who preforms at C.J's bar) and Yasmine Bleeth's character who is now an actress.

It's already coming out on dvd. Can you believe that? Just two days after it aired on tv they announce the release. I wish a lot of other shows were that put out that quickly. :)

I missed the movie but i wanted to see it. When did it come on? I love Yasmine Bleeth, Carmen Electra, Pamela Anderson, Gena Lee Nolin, Nicole Eggert. Nicole used to play on Baywatch? I didn't know that. She is a hottie. I haven't seen her in anything since the Blown Away movie she was in with Corey Feldman & Corey Haim. She was looking hot in that movie when her & Corey Haim first had sex & i saw her naked body.

I just started watching Baywatch recently and saw the movie. It was a really good movie. If you haven't seen it, make sure to next time it comes on. Not sure when it will though.

The reunion movie wasn't bad, although there were some holes in the plot. They never gave a satisfactory explanation for how Mitch (David Hasselhoff) survived the explosion. Alexandra Paul's dead character having an exact double (thanks to plastic surgery) seemed rather implausible. All in all, I thought the first Baywatch movie, "BAYWATCH: FORBIDDEN PARADISE" (set in Hawaii) was better.

But it was good to see all the cast together again. I always thought BAYWATCH was a better show than the critics claimed. I especially liked the scenes with Mitch and his son Hobie. I have tapes of several episodes (and the first movie). It was more than lightweight fun-in-the-sun. The soap opera
elements gave it more depth than one might think. Who would have thought
that a show that NBC axed after only one season would go on to last nearly
a decade in syndication and become the most watched TV show in the world?
But I think, after David Hasselhoff left the show, it went downhill or "jumped
the shark" (no pun intended).
