As much as Rainman keeps pushing the envelope of good taste, I must say that I had TWO of them in 1979 where a doctor had to
remove the ingrown parts, and...it was PAINFUL and NOT fun. I stayed home the next few days not feeling too well at all.:(

Well, I missed the picture that made everyone want to hurl. My Mom has an ingrown toenail like way b4 I was born and she said it was very painful. They had to cut at her foot and she couldnt walk for like a week w\out pain i think.

Dood. Nate freaks me out so much. Last time he IMed me on MSN... oh my god. Let's just say it was just an extremely bad experience, and I had to block him.

I hope you now all know the damage of an ingrown toe-nail. My neighbor had to get surgery on her nails (hand) because her nail got infected because she had just a little hang nail. Never rip :nonono:, clip!

I've got one now (Third time....second for this side of this toenail)....

Believe it or not, as long as no one steps on the front of my foot, or anything like that, it dosen't hurt me.

The last 2 times I've had to get one removed, the needle to numb the toe hurt me worse than the removal itself (The doctor's nagging was the worst of it all!)

Dunno why, but I never really feel much physical pain with things like this

I had an ingrown toenail about five years ago. I had to remove it with some pliers. It hurt like hell afterwards.:eek:

I had one once. The way they got rid of it was by removing the sides of toe nail .. it never really healed right and I dont think it ever will. Id like to just get the whole toe nail removed but I know it will hurt so freakin badly. WHY DO WE HAVE NAILS TO BEGIN WITH!?!? i hate my feet so much.

Yes and it hurts ike crazy until ya can remove it!
