Does anyone know who played Frad Dad on The Nanny.

What's a Frad dad? JK, her dad on the show is Steve Lawrence.

EDITED: I just looked it up and Fran's real life father (Morty Drescher) also played the part of her dad on the show a couple of times. He also played her uncle a couple of times as well. (It's a good thing Will and Grace Rox mentioned something about her real life dad, otherwise I wouldn't have looked him up. I knew he was on the show at least once, but I didn't know the different characters he played.)

Fran Drescher's real dad (and her mom) made periodic guest appearances on the show. They never showed her "dad's" face..just his toupee or the back of his head :)

Like Will and Grace Rox said, the show only showed the back of his head or toupe, so I guess we saw the back of both Morty Drescher and Steve Lawrence. I don't think there was anyone else besides those two though.

Remember at the wedding how Uncle Stanley was complaining about their side of the family? That's Fran's real life dad. They didn't show her show dad until the very last episodes of the series, while Fran was pregnant.
