I disagree. From what I have seen, both I Love Lucy and Three's Company had some of the best episodes in American TV History. Remember the famous Chocolate factory episode of ILL or the handcuffed episode of 3's Co? Both were fabulous and of course two of the best to view. Most episodes of both 3's Co. and ILL are good if not excellent in my opinion.
I am sorry for speaking out like this, but I know opinions can be influencial sometimes because I have seen happen before. I am here to defend both ILL and 3's Co. because they are truly excellent shows (in my opinon) and everyone should have the chance to watch them.
I respect that you (WingsFan) don't like either shows and that's okay. There is nothing wrong with that. People have different tastes then others.

Anyways . . .
The lamest episodes that I have seen were generally the ones from Maude, Hogan's Heroes, Taxi, and Beverly Hillbillies

I agree. I Love Lucy and Three's Company are some of the greatest shows in TV history IMO.

I know a lot of people around here love I Love Lucy, Three's Company, and Friends and I do respect that. I personally have never found those shows funny. Everyone's tastes are different. I think Wings, Cheers, Taxi, and The Simpsons are classic TV, but I don't argue with anyone who doesn't like them.

My laundry list of candidates for the lamest episodes:

The Brady Bunch:

"The Winner" - Bobby is the only Brady without a trophy

"Power of the Press" - Peter "Scoop" Brady is on the school newspaper and writes a flattering piece on Mr. Price

"Sergeant Emma" - Alice's cousin puts the Bradys through military-style workouts every morning at "0600 hours"

"Getting Greg's Goat" - Greg steals the rival school's mascot, and the plot turns into something out of Three's Company

Happy Days:

all of the anniversary shows (no original footage)

Laverne and Shirley:

"The Playboy Show" - Laverne in the contest for a Playboy bunny

Perfect Strangers:

"Ladies and Germs" - Larry almost had a date with Bonnie Kleinschmidt but caught germs

"Karate Kids" - Larry gets beaten up at a bar

"The Break In" - Larry and Balki (L&B) go to the Chronicle building in the middle of the night to retrieve a news article

"The Gift of the Mypiot" - Balki invites Mr. Gorpley to his (and Larry's) Christmas party

"Prose and Cons" - L&B wind up in jail for refusing to reveal a source

"Father Knows Best (two parter) - Larry's father comes to visit, and the basement floods

"The Men Who Knew Too Much (two parter) - L&B go to Los Angeles to cover a murder and end up framed

"The Ring" - Larry bought a fake ring for Jennifer; they sneak into her apartment in the middle of the night

"Door to Door" - L&B ruin a painting during a door to door sales run

"The Elevator" - L&B move a couch up the elevator in the Chronicle building

"After Hours" - L&B get locked up in a store with a guard dog

The Waltons:

most of the last two Olivia-less seasons

The Wonder Years:

"Heart of Darkness" - Kevin, Paul, and the gang hang out with a strange guy underneath the street in the sewer

"Coda" - Kevin vs. Ronald Hirshberger (sp?) in piano lessons

"Just Between You And Me ..." - Kevin wants Becky to just be his friend (what I really hated were the Star Trek spoofs!)

"Nemesis" - Kevin vs. Eddie Pinetti (he loses in the end)

"Whose Woods Are These?" - the woods are about to be torn down for a mall, and Kevin falls asleep at the city council meeting

"Odd Man Out" - Kevin loses his friendship with Paul (over baseball cards) to Doug Porter (the guy with Yoo-Hoo)

"The Pimple" - Kevin's first zit

"Rock 'n Roll" - Kevin in a rock and roll band

"The Candidate" - Kevin Arnold vs. Becky Slater for class president

"Yearbook" - Kevin's on the committee to write witty sayings for the school yearbook and wants to write "Oink Oink" for Peter Arbruster

"Soccer" - Kevin and Paul (K&P) go out for the soccer team

"Kodachrome" - Kevin's unique English teacher (and opposition by Mr. Valenti to her teaching style)

"Broken Hearts and Burgers" - Kevin loses Winnie at a restaurant, and there are flashbacks

just about all of the final (1992-93) season (there are a handful I will watch)

Thats not exactly true. Each Anniversary show had a story behind all the clips. Like Mork's return...The Party for Mr. and Mrs. C, Etc.

Seinfeld - the last episode: A hideous disaster preceded by media hype and a rather dismal last season over all. Viewers anticipated one last hurrah as a nice way to sign off, but noooooo. puke: We were rooked!

Taxi - the one with Alex's dog (Sorry, I don't know the title): I think Taxi is one of the funniest shows ever made. However I just can't stomach watching this episode; it's depressing. It seems this episode was made purely for the purpose of boosting the sales of Kleenex. :(

I'm sure I could come up with more, but right now I'm beat!

Any episode of Gilligan's Island that was ever made. The whole show made no sense at all.

Also, I'm getting into the later seasons of Sanford and Son, and I've noticed that the show is becoming kind of, well, ********. A lot of those episodes are really lame.

Almost any Friends Season 9 episode and most clip shows (unless they are done well like the "Mad About You" one and my recent "Gabaldi Bound (http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/showthread.php?s=&postid=589689#post589689) " clip show "Vito's Birthday")

I'm behind ya. No offense to anyone, but I really don't like 3's company or Friends. Friends is a pile of hyped trash IMO.

I stand (technically, sit, since I'm at my computer) corrected. There was some footage, but it wasn't the same as the other episodes with totally original footage.

Thats Very True. I Thought The Return Of Mork was Hilarious, But the rest of The Annversary shows were pretty boring.
