View Full Version : Fonzie's Mom?
Chad22 02-27-2003, 09:54 PM Do you think the lady that works in that Diner is really Fonie's Mom? They kinda tease it at the end when she keeps the picture.
And Maybe im wrong, But was the set they used for that diner the same that they used for Dead Lazlo's Place on that episode of Laverne and Shirley? It kinda looked like it.

I think they did that to keep you wondering  it's a 50/50 chance! She did look like the Lady @ Lazo's place, but I'm not sure.
animalcrackers 02-28-2003, 09:02 AM They did keep you wondering, I'm hoping it was her.
Moonlight Lady 02-28-2003, 10:52 AM I think it is the same diner. I thought about it last night. Is it possible that she made up the part about having a girl? She may have done it because she was afraid to tell Fonz that she was his mother. Another Happy Days Mystery.
happydaysgirl 02-28-2003, 01:13 PM I think she is beacuse she has his eyes and his looks so there you have it
CollegeGirl 02-28-2003, 02:39 PM To me, the storyline wasn't as big of a tease as it could have been. I really believed her story. But, the resemblence between Fonzie and Angela (was that her name) were too uncanny. This woman seemed like she could have been Fonz's mother so easily. Same looks, same personality type. It was mostly that distinguishable personality type-- they both have a very droll sense of humor.
I think the diner was the same diner as the one from the ep. "Southern Crossing"
Chad22 02-28-2003, 05:20 PM The Jukebox In The Diner looks like the one in the old Arnolds! LOL
YoliUSA 02-28-2003, 08:27 PM I think she really was Fonzie's mom because the way she looked at him, it was like she was really caring for him. Also, at the end, he keeps his photo(or his wallet, I don't really remember lol).

That is a very good point. And you may all be very right in your thinking this.
My thoughts on the matter differ slightly. Fonz walked out and left the pic, he was gone by the time Angela (wasn't that her name? ) realized she still had the pic. Fonz had been so great to her, by beating up that creep. Plus, he told her to go find her daughter, which she had wanted to do, but didn't have the courage to. Her putting that pic in her pocket, was like she admired him for searching for his mother and hoped that maybe her own daughter would be looking for her.
Again, this is just my opinion. I want to think she was his mother, but I honestly don't know what to think.
