In not a suprising move the Dallas Cowboys have released Emmit Smith. There is a press conference on now on ESPN2. Do you think he will move to a new team or do you think he will retire?

There is a press conference on now on ESPN2. Do you think he will move to a new team or do you think he will retire? Brian Damage 02-27-2003, 06:50 PM I don't think Emmit is ready for retirement just yet. I think he'll try to get signed by another team. TJL 02-27-2003, 07:12 PM Smith has another year left in him. I think he'll get picked up. Unless he wants to devote all of his time to doing commercials with ALF... ;) isiahthomas 02-27-2003, 07:27 PM LOL@Emmitt spending all his time doing commercials with Alf. I think he needs to retire, he's washed up. In other NFL news, Kordell Stewart was let go by Pittsburgh. Denver is gonna let Brian Griese go, they're gonna let him test the free agent market. Denver is thinking about resigning Terrell Davis back. Terrell definitely needs to stay retired, he's washed up due to all those injuries. Cleveland Browns let a lot of players go such as Jamir Miller, Earl Holmes, Dwayne Rudd, Corey Fuller, Dave Wohlabaugh. ks 02-27-2003, 09:54 PM He'll probably play another year. I wish the players and owners could be loyal to each other...I dunno. ks UpstairsSteak 02-27-2003, 10:39 PM He's still better than a lot of guys in the league. I hope he goes somewhere else, he'd still be a big asset to a team in need. Swimfan85 02-28-2003, 01:37 AM I hope he goes to New England isiahthomas 03-27-2003, 12:16 AM I saw on ESPN tonight that Emmitt Smith signed with Arizona for 2 yrs. I don't remember how much the contract was for. Out of all the teams to sign with that's a contender, why would he sign with them? Arizona isn't going anywhere for a long time. |
