"Goodnight, Gilligan". Mary Ann and Gilligan had just finished up their nightly romantic walk together. Mary Ann gave Gilligan a passionate kiss before saying good night to him and walking into her hut she shared (unfortunately) with Ginger.
As usual, Gilligan couldn't stop thinking about Mary Ann. Ironically, this always happened before he went to bed!
He was now kinda...more like really interested in marriage. I mean they had been (isolated) on and island for nearly five years! He and Mary Ann had been dating for two years this May. Gilligan decided since he and Mary Ann had both admitted they loved each other...well why not get married?
I mean, The Skipper as long as they were out on water, could marry them, since being a captain and all. Mrs. Howell knew every thing about setting up a beautiful party/reception, and Ginger knew how to have a "romantic" honeymoon, but since they were on an island it would have to be somewhere, like the other side of the island or some other nearby place. Maybe, The Proffeser could build a honeymoon raft for the two of them.
Well all Gilligan knew was, why was he planning ahead when, he hadn't even asked Mary Ann, and he should really ask Mr. Howell on how to propose to a girl, well that could be all done tommorow, Gilligan thought grogily as he closed his eyes slowly and went to sleep.

Scene 2

"Augh", Gilligan moaned as he stretched and got up from his long sleep. He had barely slept all night. All he was thinking about was proposing to Mary Ann, and getting married and all that other stuff.
"Oh, good, Gilligan....you're up", it was The Skipper. "Oh, hi Skipper, there's kinda something important I have to do". "And you can do that important something, after you...cook the breakfast, change the lobster traps......Yak, Yak, Yak...that's all Gilligan could hear in his mind, he was thinking about nothing but the thing he wanted to do.
Since The Skipper was his captain, Gilligan decided to follow his orders. So Gilligan did.....cook breakfast, change the lobster traps, etc., etc.
By the time Gilligan was done, he was very tired, but he knew what he must do....ask The Howells about marriage!
"Uh...Mrs. Howell", "Yes, dear, what is it", "can I come in", "certainly Gilligan".
"Um, I need to ask you about something, what is it dear"? "It's marriage". "Ohh, Thurston", "What is it Lovey, I'm in the middle of counting my money for the fifth time in this here hour"! "Oh, Gilligan wants to get married"! "Married to who...a chicken"? "Oh, Thurston", Mrs. Howelll swatted him with his cap.
"Uh, actually, I want to know how to propose to a girl". "Well, simply be yourself, and ask the girl kindly if she would want to share your hand in marriage". "Are you sure, Mrs. Howell, what if I mess up". "Oh, Gilligan you won't if you be yourself.....well, in your case, don't be yourself". Once again Mrs. Howell swatted Thurston.
"Oh, Gilligan, here...take this ring". "Gee, Mrs.Howell...don't you wanna keep it, I mean..it's yours right"? "Well, Gilligan sometimes you need to give things up...unfortunately for all our sakes", as she glared at Mr. Howell. "Uh, Thanks....a lot". "Oh yes and Gilligan, who is this special someoney your going to propose to"? "Um, you'll find out", and Gilligan walked out of the hut.

Scene 3
A day had past since Gilligan's meeting with The Howells. Gilligan strudded out into the clearing where Mary Ann was cooking breakfast....alone! Now it was Gilligan's chance, chance to start a new life. He quickly grabbed the ring out of his pocket and slowly, nervously shuffled up to Mary Ann.
"Oh, hi Gilligan", Mary Ann pecked a soft kiss on Gilligan's cheek. "Uh, Mary Ann why don't you..come and sit with me on the table. Mary Ann did as he asked and said, "So...is there something you want to tell me". Right then and there Gilligan saw the beautiful smile across her face. Her graceful brown hair, her wonderful body-wait why am I looking at that, thought Gilligan. Quickly regaining his senses he got back up to what he jumped at the chance.
"Um, yeah Mary Ann, there is something I need to tell you","Yes", she said urging him to go on. "I..I..Mary Ann..would you...take my hand in marriage, he quickly stepped down and held the ring up for her.
There was a long silence...she just stared..down at him. "Okay, I guess not", and Gilligan walked away. "Oh, Gilligan", Mary Ann ran after him and jumped on him so hard they fell to the ground, "Of course, I will marry you". She gave him a long and passionate kiss. It seemed the like the kiss would never end.
"Looks, like it's time to start planning the wedding", Mrs. Howell said to Mr. Howell, as they peered out of their huts. "Yes, dear, I believe it is, I believe it is".

Aww, this is cute! Gilly got tackled. Hee. I love the Howells spying on them too - they so would do that (and they did in 'Matchmaker.' LOL). Yay! Keep going...

Scene 4
"Oh Ginger", the most wonderful thing just happened". "What...did you actually clean the table this time", Mary Ann qucikly ignored Ginger's snide comment and went on. "
"Gilligan proposed to me"! "He, what"? "He proposed to me, Him and I will be married in a two months, Oh I'm so excited", Ginger looked angrily at Mary Ann as Mary Ann sat dreamily.
"Augh", Ginger went over to the table Mary Ann was sitting at. "Oh, I am shocked". "Oh me too Ginger, I couldn't believe it when I heard him say it". "No it's just...I never thought I could see the day when you'd be married before me, I mean why did Gilligan fall for you and not me"? That was it Mary Ann was super pissed off.
"Ginger...the whole world doesn't revolve around you". "I don't have to be on my hands and feet prasing your beauty". "So, what if you're sexier than me or more glamorous...Gilligan taught me that that doesn't matter".
"And one more thing, Ginger....I'm not surprised that Gilligan and me are getting married instead of you and Gilligan".
"Urggggg", Ginger was furious. "Just you wait Mary Ann, just wait until your wedding day, you'll get it, yes you will", and with that Ginger slammed the door and trudged off into the jungle.
Mary Ann then just shrugged it off and wnet busily back to daydreaming.

Scene 5

"Hey, Skipper". "Hello Gilligan". "Gilligan leave". "Okay...I was just going to tell I was engaged to Mary Ann, but you don't want to hear about that". "You're what". "You mean you're en..gage...dd". "Yeah...I am". "Hey Proffeser, guess what my little buddy is". " A loser". "Hey, don't call me that". "Sorry, it's just that I was up late with Ginger last night and......Uh, so...Gilligan what is it you were going to tell me again"? "Oh, yeah, I'm enagaged".
"Oh, that's nice, to who". "Mary Ann". "Oh". There was a long silence. "You, guys don't seem that excited". " Why should we.....I mean it's just YOU (Gilligan) getting married to Mary Ann, not anyone important".
"What, I am too important". "Oh, you're just a naive kid who gets in the way, we should have shot you when I had the chance".
Gilligan could not believe what he was hearing. "Oh, yeah, I..I, I hate you Proffeser, you...well I wish some pretty bad things on you".
"I..I'm going somewhere else". Gilligan slammed the door and went over to the girls hut.

Scene 6

"Mary Ann, it's Gilligan". "Oh, hi". "May I come in". "Sure". Mary Ann was sitting on her bed seweing some tears in a wedding dress. "Where did you get that"? "From Mrs. Howell". "Wait, why did she bring a wedding dress on a three hour....never mind". "What was it you wanted Gilligan"? "Oh yeah", Gilligan went over and sat down on Mary Ann's bed. "
"Uh, The Proffeser and I are in a big feud". "Oh....me and Ginger are too". "Gee, I thought when I would tell people I'm going to get married, they'd get excited, but they're all annoyed". "I know, Ginger's such a bi...never mind".
"Yeah", Gilligan smiled. "You're right", Mary Ann gave an even bigger smile back. They started to kiss/make out on her bed. Ironically when they noticed they were both on her bed, Mary Ann blushed, and Gilligan did also. "Uh, maybe I should um, go back and wash the clothes". "Oh, no Gilligan". "I'll do that". "Oh, I..why don't we both do it". "Sounds good to me, and she and him walked to wash the clothes holding hands (awwww).

Scene 7

Mary Ann walked into the clearing with Gilligan. Nobody was there to eat dinner. "Hm, that's odd", Gilligan said. All of a sudden Mary Ann started to cry. "What's wrong Mary Ann". "Oh, it's Ginger, she said to me that something bad would happen on my wedding day and...". "Well, what will she..do". "I'm afraid she might do something that will hurt you".
"Well..she's not that bad...is she"? Mary Ann just looked up at him, with tears in her eyes. "Gilligan...I want to reschedule the wedding to two days from now". "What", Gilligan was shocked. "It's only to protect you from what ever scheme Ginger has up in her mind right now".
She gave Gilligan a big hug, and gave him another passionate kiss. "Oh, and Gilligan". "Yes, Mary Ann". "Don't tell anyone, that the wedding's rescheduled, not until that very morning". "Yes, Mary Ann, whatever you say". Mary Ann then gave Gilligan a huge kiss and trudged off to her hut as Gilligan watched her.
She's depressed and frightened, Gilligan thought. "I've gotta help her".

Scene 8

It was the day, the day of the wedding. Mary Ann had been up all night working on the wedding dress. Gilligan had been up all night just worrying something might go wrong, what if he did something wrong, what if Mary Ann didn't say "I do".
He was as nervous as a mexican jumping bean. Mary Ann had told him to hand out the invitations and tell everyone. Mrs. Howell when she found out the wedding had been rescheduled to that day, immediatley started setting up chairs and The Proffeser started to build an altar.
Ginger decided it was time to get back at Mary Ann, to get back at her for the other night. Gilligan was getting all dressed up in his tux, donated from Mr. Howell. He was looking quite dashing, he thought so himself.
"Hello...Gilligan". "Uh Oh", Gilligan said to himself. He knew what she was going to do, vamp him. "Why, do you want Mary Ann, you can have me". She slowly and seductively slithered over to him and grabbed him by the neck and laid a huge kiss on his lips.
"Ginger, stop". "I'm going to be a married man in a few hours and I'm through with this stuff". "Oh, Gilligan, you're such a kidder", and Ginger laid another one on him. Then up from behind Mary Ann came up behind Ginger's back and whacked her with a bamboo pole, she was knocked out.
"Stay away from him", Mary Ann said. "Thank You, Mary Ann". "Anytime Gilligan".
