-Where they dig up the treasure chest, and have a trial for who gets to keep it

-The radioactive seeds one, where they eat the radioactive seeds and different things happen to them

-Smile ur on Mars Camera
-The Eva Grant Episode
-Where Gilligan gets struck by lighting twide

I always liked "The Matchmaker" for obvious reasons. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif I used to be able to recite the first like 12 minutes of that ep. lol. I know...it's bad, very bad. Just 'cuz I've seen it so many times.

"Beauty is as Beauty Does" cuz the Prof and Mary Ann are together through most of it.

"All About Eva" because it's a tribute to one of my favorite movies, ALL ABOUT EVE, which is one of the best movies ever made!

1.the one with the radioactive seeds where they eat those vegetables and Mary Ann can see far away and Gilligan gets strong and Mrs. Howell is running around and have to eat soap.

2."The Matchmaker"?
Thats The one where Mrs. Howell wants Gilligan and Mary Ann to get married so she can plan a wedding.(Theres more to the episode but thats my favorit part)

3.The Eva episode?
The one where Eva Grubb comes on the island and doesn't want to leave because she thinks she's ugly and then Ginger makes her look like her and she runs away to pretends she's ginger

The Producer followed by Don't Bug The Mosquitoes. V is for Vitamin is good, too. All the episodes are good.

My favorite episodes (and the ones I most remember) are:

- The Episode where Mary Ann thinks she's Ginger after falling on the ground

- The episode where Mary Ann thinks that she is going to die when she overhears The guys talking about her misfortune

- YOu Ginger, Me TO-RO!

- Kurt Russell's appearance: Boy Boy Girl Girl No No

- The one with the telephone line getting washed up on the island

- The One where Gilligan has a radio tooth.

- The Episode where Gilligan bumps his head and starts seeing things upside down, double, and then Five times!

- The Hypnotic Rings episode

- The Spy Suitcase episode

- The Spooky castle episode where their voices get changed around

- The Voodoo episode

That's about all that I remember

1. The matchmaker
2. the 1 where mary ann thinks she ginger
3. that 1 when they make a movie to send for help
4. the 1 when gillian and mr howell find gold
5. the 1 with zsa zsa gabor (s/p)

My favorite was the one with the giant spider. And another was the one where the professor wanted to make a bomb to blow up the volcano. It seemed like those two shows had alot going on and it made them seem to last longer.

I guess my favorite is ''Gilligan's Personal Magnetism'' - the invisible Gilligan one. My favorite part of that one is where the girls get scared of him when he's wrapped up like a mummy and run off and Ginger's (or Mary Ann's - can't remember) comb gets stuck on his bandages and they unwind him and he is spinning and spinning and spinning...

And of course the Eye of the Idol one. ''I wish we were off this island!''

And the ''I can build a boat'' one (with the robot).

And the one where Mary Ann thinks she's Ginger.'' Heck, they are pretty much all my favorite, you know?

I like the Christmas one, where they are all saying, ''Merry Christmas'' and where Santa Claus really WAS there; it wasn't the Skipper after all!

The one that they find the vegetables. That one is so funny.

The Mosquitos-too funny. Mrs Howell chasing the band around trying to give them a haircut.
V for Vitamins
When the Skipper learns he is at fault for the Minnow being lost,Gilligan dreams about pirates-again too funny

1) The produceer when the castaways did Hamalet

2) When on the telephone cables wash onto the island (on of my ALL TIME favorites)

3) When they use Maryann's maple syurp to repair the Minnow

4) When they found thier raft when the the gold mine was found

5) Eva came to the island and impersonated Ginger

6) The Beauty pageant

Also I can't STAND 'The Producer' -- I donno, it just annoys me. And it's #3 out of the 100 Greatest Episodes in 'TV Land To Go'! I just don't get it.

Just an interesting point on this "survey". Most of you seem to favor the 2nd & 3rd season shows. Only a couple of folks mentioned any of the 1st season black and white episodes.

As for me, I heavly favor the 1st season shows. I know the show was always silly, but for some reason I felt the 1st season was much better, and not quite as "wacky" as the other two.

Favorites for me included:

. Three to Get Ready

B&W "as you can see, I definitely favor the 1st season" fan

I'm a "Three to Get Ready" fan myself, aside from all of the color episodes, that one was so imaginative. I wouldn't say it was realistic, but it was fun.

I agree, I really do like the first season better. I just thought the stories were better -- not that 2nd & 3rd seasons weren't. Alot of my faves seem to fall in the end of the 1st season.
By the third season, I think they were kinda running out of ideas (maybe...) cuz there was 2 episodes about astronauts or space capsules or something and I didn't like either of them. Just my humble opinion. :)

'Cuz censors in the 60s were annoying. lol. They'd freak out if there was like a chance of...well, stuff. **shrug** I have no idea what word I was searching for there but I think you get the point.
Now, don't quote me on this cuz I'm not sure, but I think like maybe Mrs. Howell's little scheme was supposed to work, but either censors got ahold of the script or they thought it would kill the show or something. Again, DONT quote me on that. lol. (Besides, we all know Sherwood was all about those two. lol)

"Goodbye Island' I loved it when they shot on location and that episode has lots of filming done on the actual beach. Also its one of only 2 or 3 episodes where the Minnow is actually shown with alot of the action taking place around it. Show looks more real with this location photography. Anyone else feel the same way?

Yes, "Goodbye Island" was definitely a great episode. In fact, it's my favorite one. :happyface

Another great favourite of mine is "Up To Bat' the first episode of the third season where Gilligan thinks he was bitten by a Vampire Bat..
Hilarious with the Skipper going to bed in his hammock with a big scarf wrapped around his neck for protection!!This great episode also contains one of the most memorable dream sequences of the entire series where the cast go back to Victorian England and the Professor plays Sherlock Holmes with the Skipper as Dr. Watson trying to hunt down Count Dracula (Gilligan) in a spooky old house. Brilliant work by the whole cast and for a piece of trivia this episode was Russell Johnson's personal favourite as well.

My favorites are the Voodoo one (where Professor becomes a zombie), the Jack and the Beanstalk one (I love it how they used a midget to stand in for Gilligan when he was being chased by the "Giant" Skipper!), and the one where Gilligan becomes a radio.

Generally the episodes with natives are classics. The ones with musical guests suck, and the guest stars were lame, except for "Wrong Way Feldmen" and the dream sequences are usually not good episodes except for "Gilligan the Vampire!" I hate the musical stuff because all that ever did was try to mock something else, and lacked original story lines ("The Mosquito's") i.e "The Monkeys" or "The Beatles"..which had nothing to do with GI But 75% or more of the episodes are very good to outstanding!
