JUST MARRIED

starring: Ashton Kutcher, Brittany Murphy

from Rotten Tomatoes:

"A chance encounter on a beach brings Tom (Ashton Kutcher, DUDE, WHERE'S MY CAR?) and Sarah (Brittany Murphy, 8 MILE) into each other's lives. They quickly fall in love and agree to get married. Although Sarah's wealthy family does not approve of their daughter's fiancé, Tom and Sarah believe they can sustain themselves on love, and so they take the matrimonial plunge. As soon as they are married, however, things start to unravel--first in their newlywed suite, next on the airplane to their honeymoon in Italy, then in the five-star Hotel Du Rêve in France. Pretty soon the couple is living out a hellish version of Murphy's Law, and divorce begins to look hilariously ominous"

When I first saw the trailer to this movie I thought, Oh man not another crappy romantic comedy. Then one day I decided to download it on my computer so I wouldn't have to pay or anything and I was almost right. This movie is not very funny. Sure it does have its moments but not enough for an hour and a half because it mostly relies on Slapstick comedy, don't get me wrong here I live slapstick but not when its used over and over again, It just starts to get old. Plus the movie is very predictable so it makes it even worse.

Brittany Murphy is the probably the only likable person in this movie in my opinion, everyone else is a bit of a jerk. So besides a few funny scenes (10 pound ashtray! haha so funny) Brittany Murphy and some nice scenery, this isn't a very good movie so I give it...

  out of 5 on my goodmorningmeter

Well you can get it on Video. I wouldn't recommend paying $13 for the theatre though
