A New Twist On An Old Story
Chapter 1.
Detective Jo Sanders enters her house at about 7:00 at night, because she had been working late at the LAPD 12th prescient building working on some follow up reports for her latest assignment that her and her partner Detective Brian Farrow had finished. Her husband Tony of what will be twenty years in a day greets her at the door.
“Hey hun, Ryan, Danny, Carl, and I had some Taco’s for dinner, and there are some leftovers in the oven keeping warm for you if you want them,” says Tony.
Jo walks over to him and hugs him, and says, “Thanks but I’m not that hungry. Where are the boys, or should I say men now?”
“Ryan is out back practicing basketball, Danny is upstairs typing up a report for school, and Carl is in the basement working on his Tae Kwon Do form for his hi-blue belt.” he replied.
“Ok I’m going to go outside and see if Ryan wants to play a quick game of ball with me.” Jo stated.
“Okay, I’m going upstairs to finish up some work I brought home with me to finish up over the weekend.” he says. He begins to head up the stairs as Jo goes out back and sees Ryan shooting,
“I was wondering if you wanted to play a little one on one with your mom?” she asks.
“Sure I could use the practice since I’m going to UCLA on a full basketball scholarship next year” he answered.
They begin to play when Tony comes out with the phone “Jo, it’s for you,” he tells her.
“Mind if I quit the game and we continue it later on Ryan?” she asks.
“No problem mom,” he replies.
Jo goes and takes the phone from Tony. “Hello?” Jo says into the phone as she walks into the living room and sits down on the couch.
“Jo I haven’t spoken to you in far too long” says a familiar voice.
“Blair! It’s great to hear from you again, how long has it been, two years at the least since we’ve had time to talk.” Jo says.
“I know, having a 17 year old daughter and a 15 almost 16 year old daughter, and a 14 year old son makes it hard to keep track of things, not to mention my husband who is all over the states nowadays.” Blair states.
“So how are you Chris, Chloe, Miranda and Jake doing?” Jo asks.
“Well, Chloe has been accepted to UCLA on a academic scholarship and is entirely thrilled she has wanted to go there for so long, I can’t believe she’ll be graduating this year. Isn’t Ryan graduating this year also I wonder if the two of them remember each other, since we haven’t gotten together in about 7 years. Miranda is so looking forward to her sixteenth birthday she wont stop talking about the party she wants to have, so far I have figured it to be the biggest party she has ever had. It’s hard to believe her birthday is next month. Well as you know Jake is 14, he is always in his room or out side skateboarding with his friends, we hardly ever see him any more either. I keep telling him to bring his friends into the house so I can meet them but he wont do it, and I still cant figure out why, what if they aren’t the type of crowd he should be hanging around like if they’re not good for him. Now for Chris him and I seem to be drifting since he’s gone so often. I just wish he would be home for longer than a week or two. I’ve tried to talk about it to him but he just wont listen it seems. I don’t know what’s going to happen, I don’t think the kids have noticed yet, but I still want to make it work you know? I’m doing pretty good I still own Warner Textiles and Eastland, I am also now doing all my work for there out of my house so I can still be close to the kids. So how are you, Tony, Ryan, Daniel, and Carl doing?”
“I’m sure you will come up with something you always do. Just be there for each other and love each other and you should do fine and remember I’m always here for you. I’m doing great I’m now a Detective and am enjoying being with the kids when I can. Tony is now one of the top Video game creators in the state and we are doing well together. As for the kids Ryan is graduating this year and he also made it into UCLA but on a basketball scholarship, its great to know that our kids will be going to the same college, and I’m also happy that Ryan will still live close to home, he’s going to live in the dorms but he has decided to come home every weekend so I can do his laundry for him and cook him meals. Chloe can come over on the weekends too if she wants too I don’t have any problems doing that for her either since she’s part of the family. Danny, as he now wants to be called just turned sixteen we got him a car for his birthday a brand new Jeep. He fell in love with it and is driving it everywhere he’s even doing errands for me and taking Carl to school with him. Its great to have him help out since Ryan is so busy now. Carl is also into skateboarding but unlike Jake I already know Carl’s skateboarding friends because they are his regular friends they all just sort of started skateboarding. He must have at least 3 different skateboards and he has a bunch of skateboarding and BMX equipment in the garage luckily it’s a three car garage and we can keep all the extra sports stuff in the third spot but the driveway already has two cars parked in it.” Jo replies.
“Well the number one reason I was calling was because I was thinking of having a big reunion where yours, Tootie’s, Natalie’s, Mrs. Garrett, Beverly Ann, Andy, and my family’s all get together. What do you think?” Blair asks.
“Well I love the idea. Have you talked to everyone else about it?” Jo replies
“Yea I have I called them all before I called you I knew I would end up talking to you for the longest so I figured I better call you last so I didn’t run out of time to make the other calls, they all said it was great and would love to come I decided to have it here in Peekskill this Christmas everyone will arrive on the 20th and leave after new years, we’d have a old fashion Eastland Christmas and New years. Can you make it?” Blair asks.
“Let me check my calendar,” Jo goes over to the calendar “yes we are free during that time I’d be glad to come I might take a day of that time to take my kids up to the City to see my parents and explore a bit.” Jo states.
“That sounds great to me. I also wanted to say happy 20th anniversary! Wow, look at the time I have to go its almost 11:00P.M here and I need to get some sleep, good night Jo see you on the 20th” Blair says.
“Good night Blair I’ll see you soon. Bye.” Jo hangs up the phone and goes to call everyone into the family room. Once the whole Family is seated in the living room she starts to tell them their plans for Christmas, “I know your wondering why I called you here for a family meeting.” Everyone else nod’s their heads “Well your Aunt Blair called me and she is planning a reunion in Peekskill this Christmas and I told her we could make it.” she explained.
“That sounds great,” says Tony.
“We also talked about how everything is going and I have some news for you Ryan, you remember Chloe don’t you?” She asked Ryan.
“Yea she’s my age isn’t she?” he asked his mother.
“Yes your right Ryan she is your age and she also got accepted to UCLA on a scholarship. I am hoping that will help her around LA when she comes at the beginning of next school year.” She stated.
“That’s no problem mom I’d be more than willing to help out a friend. Who else is coming to the reunion?” He asks her.
“Well it will be our family, Aunt Tootie’s family, Aunt Natalie’s family, Aunt Blair’s family, Mrs. G, Beverly Ann, and Andy.” Jo tells her family.
“Well then if that’s it I better get back to finishing up on the game I’m designing.” Tony states. As he leaves the room and head back upstairs to his den and Jo’s den.
“I’m going to go finish my report in my room now.” Danny tells his mother as he starts up the stairs after his father.
Once Danny and his father are upstairs Jo and her other two sons decide to watch some TV for a while then Ryan says, “I’m going to go play Grand Theft Auto Vice City on the Playstation two upstairs you want to come Carl?”
“Sure sounds great.”
The two young men head down stairs to the basement where the entertainment room is, Just before Carl turns on the PS2 Ryan says “Don’t turn it on, about a week ago Danny and I went out to get moms gift we had decided to pay for don’t worry about the cost Danny and I covered it and you don’t have to pay anything, follow me and I’ll show you what we decided on.”
The two of them head towards the back storage room where Ryan has found a clever way to hide his parents present behind a mountain of boxes. He begins to move the boxes and reveals a family photo that they had taken to a special photographer to enlarge for them so they could put it in a 24inches high by 36 inches long solid gold frame.
Carl looks at it in awe “Wow, that’s perfect I think that we shouldn’t wrap it and that we should just hang it up late tonight after they have gone to bed” Carl said to his brother.
“I totally agree with you bro, and all three of us are going to get up at 6:00 tomorrow to cook them breakfast in bed.” Ryan told his younger brother.
“Okay, who is going to hang it up?” Carl asked.
“I will you and Danny can go to bed around 10:00 or 11 so you’ll be ready to get up and cook. Mom and Dad will be in bed around 11:30 so I’m going to hang it up at about midnight then I’ll be up at 6:00 with you guys.” Ryan explained.
“You don’t have to get up and cook sleep until at least 7:00 since your staying up so late. Since it’ll be Saturday mom and dad wont be up until at least eight. Danny and I can handle it until your up.” Carl told his older brother.
“Okay I’ll do that thanks for caring Carl,” he says.
Carl looks towards his brother and says “Its no problem man.” He looks at his watch and notices its almost 10:00. “I’m going to go to bed so I’ll be ready in the morning good night Ryan.”
“Night Carl have a good nights rest.”
Carl nods and heads across the basement to his room as Ryan puts the picture back in its hiding spot and heads into the entertainment room to play Grand Theft Auto Vice City. Meanwhile upstairs in his room Danny is done with his report and is now working on the card for his parents from him and his brothers. When he finishes that he decides to go to bed so he will be ready for the morning.
At the same time down on the main floor Jo and Tony are talking about the upcoming reunion.
“I can’t wait to see everyone again, it’s been so long since we’ve all seen each other.” Jo tells her husband.
He looks at her and says, “I know how much you have missed them and want to see them.”
Jo nods.
He continues “I cant believe it’ll be twenty years together tomorrow”
Jo then replies to his last statement “I know its hard to believe we’re 44, have been married twenty years tomorrow, have three amazing boys, and jobs we both enjoy.”
“I remember when we first met, it was at that motorcycle shop you were working part time at back in Peekskill. I remember thinking wow I could never get someone as nice and beautiful as that and then we started talking and we set out first date.” He told his wife.
“Wow I can’t believe you still remember that. I knew you would be the one when we met, you were so handsome, kind, funny, responsible, well educated, caring, and much, much more. You still are too.” Jo said.
He smiled in return then leaned in and kissed her and said, “Hun, I think we better go to bed”
“I agree” she responded as they made their way towards their room.
Ryan is heading upstairs as hears a door shut he goes and checks the main floor and the upstairs and realizes no one is up but him or at least no one is going to be out of their room until morning. So he heads back to the store room in the basement and gets the picture out and a hook to hang it with the goes into the living room where he has already found the perfect spot and hangs it up then decides to go to bed since the next day would be a big day for his family.
The next Morning about 6:00A.M Danny and Carl arrive in the kitchen and Danny asks Carl “Where is Ryan?”
Carl responds to him by saying “I told him to sleep in until seven and that we could handle it since he had to stay up late to hang the picture and we didn’t.”
“Okay, how about we make bacon, eggs, French toast, coffee, and orange juice.” Danny suggests
“That sounds like a good idea to me” Carl responds.
Four eggs, four pieces of toast, 8 pieces of bacon two cups of coffee and two cups of orange juice later. Ryan comes down from his room to join Danny and Carl.
“Hey Ryan you ready to help take their breakfast up to them” Danny asked his older brother.
“Yea lets take it to them right now.” Ryan says.
The three young men take the two trays full of food into their parents room and notice they are still asleep Ryan counts to three on his hand and all the of the boys yell “SURPRISE!”
Jo and Tony wake up to see their sons holding breakfast for them, they smile.
“Wow, breakfast in bed, I haven’t had this in ages.” Jo states.
“I know that’s why we did it for both of you to show you how much we cared about you guys.” Ryan tells his parents.
“This is amazing boys we love you so much!” exclaims Tony.
“We know,” declares Danny.
“That’s one of the reasons we did this for you.” said Carl.
Jo and Tony begin to eat while they are talking to Danny, Ryan and Carl.
When they are done eating Ryan announces, “We do have one more surprise but you have to get up and come out into the living room”
“Ok we’ll be out in a few minutes you boys go on ahead and we’ll meet you in there” Tony tells his sons.
Tony and Jo get ready and enter the living room and see the boys standing next to a enlarged family picture with a solid gold frame
“It’s beautiful,” Jo says as tears well up in her eyes but she refuses to let them fall.
“It is” Tony agrees.

To tell you the truth i'm not sure where the title will come into play. But it probably will sooner or later im not sure which. i just tried to think of a title besides something like my new fic.

I think it makes sense..like...everyone does reunion fics(well, not really EVERYONE, but..a lot of people) but, this one's different than all of those..soooooo...new twist...old story...get it?

well i had originaly planned to post more today but my keyboard is f***ed up my shift key dosent work i had to get the little star thing on my 10 key keypad and i cant write names with out a shift key so it will be a bit cuz i need to go get a new keyboard:rant: :livid: :mad: you can see i'm mad about that...

Hmm,this is a little different from all the reunion fan fics I've read,
but anyways it's still great!.Keep it up!:)

Chapter 2
Blair Mitchells had just woken up when she smelt something burning, she threw on her robe and headed downstairs to the kitchen, and soon found out that her husband the worst cook ever was trying to make toast. “Chris, your toast is burning!” she exclaimed to him
“I was trying to cook you breakfast, but I failed miserably as you can see.” he said.
Jake, who was sitting at the table eating a bowl of cereal, responded, “Next time wait till mom is up, and let her help you.”
“He does have a point,” Chloe added.
Miranda came down the stairs dressed and ready for the day to begin she turned to her mother and said “Mom, a couple of friends and I are going to go to the mall, do you mind?”
“No, I don’t mind. It’s not a problem. Do you need a ride?” Blair questions her.
“No, they’ll be here to pick me up in 30 minutes,” her daughter answered. As she grabbed a box of cereal and poured some into a bowl she asked, “Hey Jake, where did you put the milk?”
“I put it on the table, but Chloe has it now.” He replies,
Chloe hands the carton of milk to Miranda.
“Thanks,” Miranda responds.
“ So when will you be home?” Blair asked,
“Um how does 5 sound?” Miranda responded,
“I guess 5 is alright. But no later!” She warned.
“Okay, 5 it is,” Miranda said. Seconds later the doorbell rang. “I’ll get it.” She told her family.
“Okay see you later” Chris said. Then he turned to the rest of his family, “I better go get packed I was paged about 6:00A.M this morning saying I have to go to Dallas for a week I’ll be back on the 19th of this month.” He told them,
“You better be back by the 19th the reunion is on the 20th” Blair said concerned.
“Don’t worry hun I will be.” He says then adds, “Have I ever been late before? Why would I be this time?” He then heads upstairs to pack
Blair silently thinks to herself how many times he has been late and missed important things like Miranda’s 6th grade graduation. Chloe’s 8th grade graduation and all sorts of concerts, school plays, and games, and then thinks to her self “ya right sure you’ll make it.” She was jolted out of her thoughts when Chloe asked her why she was just sitting there staring at her bowl of cereal. “Just thinking about some things hun, nothing for you to worry about.” Blair told her daughter
“Okay” Chloe responded.
“By the way Chloe, did you know Ryan Aunt Jo’s son is going to UCLA on a scholarship next year also. Although his is for Basketball. I’m sure he’d be willing to show you around when you get to LA.” Blair stated
“That’s great, I’m glad I’ll know someone there and wont be all alone.” She replied
“I know what you mean, also Aunt Jo said you can come over any time you want if you need anything or just want to hang around. She said Ryan is going to do his laundry and eat dinner every weekend there and she said if you want you can catch a ride with him she was sure he’d let you.”
“Okay mom, I get your point.” Chloe said, then adds, “I know I’m welcome there”
“Okay” Blair said. Then looks toward Jake. “Jake, Do you remember Carl? I know you guys were pretty young when you met.”
“Yea I remember Carl, he’s my age isn’t he?” Jake states.
“Yes he is and he also skateboards.” Blair tells her son.
“Sly” he said
“Sly?” his mother questions,
“Yea, sly means sweet or cool”
“I knew that” Blair said in her know it all tone.
“Sure you did mom.” Jake said
“I’m sure he’ll bring his skateboard with him to the reunion.”
“Great! I wonder what he can do,” Jake said
“Why don’t you ask him I’ll get his screen name from Aunt Jo. If you want it,” She says then adds, “Chloe I also have Ryan’s if you would like to talk to him.”
“Sure sounds great.” Jake said
“Cool” Chloe says.
“Great I’ll call her now. I need to wish her and Uncle Tony a happy anniversary anyways.” Blair says and walks over to the phone, and dials Jo’s number
“Hello” Jo answers
“Happy Anniversary!” Blair responds
“Thanks Blair.” Jo said,
“How are you?” Blair asked
“Good, now enough with the small talk what did you call me for?”
“What? I can’t just call my best friend to wish her a happy anniversary?” Blair says
“No, you cant. Now spill it.” Jo demands
“Well I was thinking about giving the kids each others screen names. That way they get to know each other before the reunion so they don’t have to get used to each other there, especially Jake and Carl since they will probably end up sharing a room. Those two then Danny and Carl, then Chloe and Miranda, then Nat’s daughter Megan and Tootie’s daughter Kara, then Tootie’s sonsCalvin and Nat’s son Michael will share a room. I tried to match them up by gender and try to keep the family with the other family members if not by that then we go by age. Since I now own a hotel chain the one in Peekskill is called “The Little Inn in Peekskill” we will all be staying there since it is pretty well located and I have many rooms available for every one to stay in. Oh yea and of course each couple will have their own room.” Blair said
“Well, the screen name thing is a great idea. All the kids are on Yahoo, MSN, and AOL their screen names are the same for each. Ryan’s is dirtbiker2003, Danny’s is streetracer2005, and Carl’s is skaterboy2007. It’s great that you now own a hotel chain. How much is it going to be to stay there? Also good choices for the rooms, I think that you matched them up well. Oh and do you mind if Jake brings his skateboard? We’re going to drive there from here instead of flying its much cheaper, besides Tony and I are driving in the Grand AM all our stuff is going in the Grand AM, Ryan is driving himself and Carl in his Mustang, and Danny is driving his Jeep we’re loading the boys stuff in the backs of their cars considering the way they can mysteriously get places quicker than us they should have it. We’ll drive from here to Colorado, and spend the night there then from Colorado to Cincinnati, and spend the night there, then from Cincinnati to Peekskill so we will probably be leavening in 2 or 3 days from now.” Jo explains.
“Okay, let me write the screen names down” Blair tells her friend as she scribbles down the screen names.” Then she adds “Okay, got it. The kids also have all three messengers and the names are the same on each. Chloe’s is babyblue2003 Miranda’s is driversbeware, and Jake’s is blindboarder2007.”
“Okay” Jo says as she finishes writing the names down.
“I better go, I need to work on some stuff,” Blair says.
“Okay I’ll let you get to work, Bye see you at the reunion” Jo says and then hangs up
Blair hangs the phone up and puts it back on its cradle.
“Alright, Here is the boys screen names; Ryan’s is dirtbiker2003, Danny’s is streetracer2005, and Carl’s is skaterboy2007.” She tells Chloe and Jake.
“Okay mom, I’ll enter them in next time I’m online.” Chloe says, and then adds, “But right now I have a date with Josh.” She then makes her way toward the door and heads out to the porch swing to wait for him, five minutes later he arrives in his BMW and she leaves with him.
“I wish she would at least tell me where she is going or when she’ll be back before she goes out with that menace Josh.” Blair says to her son.
Jake looks at his mother then says “I agree he isn’t the ideal boy friend he takes her to bars and…Oh crap I wasn’t supposed to tell you that.”
Blair interrupts him “Wait a minute did you say go to bars? As in he has a fake ID?”
Jake then says, “Yea he has one and got one for her, I saw her come in drunk around 1:00am that one night she said she’d be at the library until late at night to study and I took her upstairs to her room and got her in bed before she passed out.”
“Oh my gosh! Why didn’t you tell me about this Jake?” Blair asks concerned,
Jake looks down and says, “I didn’t want to get her in trouble, I mean I figured it was a one time thing and she would break up afterwards, it continued to happen and I confronted her about it and she said to stay out of her business and if I told you I’d be dead meat.”
“Oh Jake, I wish you would have told me this earlier.” Blair tells her only son.
“I’m sorry mom,” he says.
“You don’t have to be sorry I understand why you didn’t you wanted to try to protect you sister yourself and not get her in trouble.” Blair tells her son, then adds “I’m going to have a talk with Josh and forbid him to talk to her or see her ever again, that boy is such a bad influence.”
“That sounds like a good idea mom, Just don’t tell her I told you she’ll never speak to me again.” Jake says
“Okay hun, was she drunk last night?” Blair asks.
“Yea she was” Jake tells his mother.
“Ok then, I’ll tell her I saw her come in drunk last night and decided not to say anything about it until she got back today.” Blair states.
“Well, then I guess I’m going to go upstairs and listen to some music.” Jake says.
“Okay.” Blair tells her son.
Jake heads upstairs to his room
Blair begins to head toward her den to gather things she is going to take to the inn with her. She enters and shuts the door behind her, the next thing she does is looks over at her desk where she has a separate photo of each of her family members, then looks at Chloe’s most recent picture and begins to cry. She says to her self “Why did she go take that drink she knows better. She was my baby; maybe I can talk some sense into her or get one of the others to talk some sense into her. Then she looks at the picture of Chris and speaks to her self once again, “Why did I marry some one like my father. Never around work is more important than everything to him. All I wanted was a family, one with a mother, kids and a father that’s around. I guess I didn’t do that good with that. The last thing I want to do is end up like my mom, divorced 4 times. I don’t want the kids to have to go threw what I went threw.” She then decides to head to her and her husband’s room where he is packing. She opens the door to find him shutting his suitcase that he had recently filled with things he would need. Blair looks at him and says “Hey Chris”
“Oh hi hun I’ve been thinking about some things lately. I think we have been drifting and that we need a break from each other therefore I’m leavening you and the kids I packed everything I need and am going to leave today, I sort of lied when I said I had a business trip I really was deciding to leave today, I’m sorry but I don’t think we can make this work much longer. I want to work and you want to have quality family time I cant do both so I decided to work I’m sorry Blair but I have to go.” Chris tells his wife and starts to head toward the door,
“Chris wait!” she calls to him
He turns around to face her
“I think we can make this work though think of the children think of what this will do to them.”
“The children will understand I’m sure.” He says then leaves the house and his family for a new life.
Blair goes over to her bed lays down and cries thinking about what she is going to tell her kids and about why her husband is leaving her.
A few hour later Blair emerges from her room to see a drunk Chloe and Josh making out on her couch.
“AHEM” she says.
Chloe looks at her embarrassed and says “Umm I was just saying good bye to Josh.”
“Yea Mrs. Sanders I was just leaving” Josh say’s.
Blair then looks at him and says “I’ll escort you to the door.” She then take him over to the door and out to the porch, she points the porch swing and says “Sit down I want to have a talk with you.”
He sits down and looks at her then says “What about?”
“About how you have been taking my daughter to bars with fake ID’s. I am forbidding you to ever see her or speak to her again do you hear me I don’t want you to tell her I told you to break it off I want you to call her once you are home and break it to her easily. Do you understand me?” She says madly
Josh looks toward the ground and says “yes ma’am” then adds, “may I leave now?”
“Please do” Blair says
He goes and gets in his BMW and drives off.
Blair heads back inside and asks Jake, “Where did you sister go to?”
Jake then says “Upstairs she’s brushing her teeth trying to get the alcohol smell out of her mouth.”
“Thanks” Blair says, then she starts up the stairs and goes to Chloe’s bathroom she shares with Miranda and says, “So how long have you been drinking?”
Chloe goes white as a ghost and drops the tooth brush into the sink she then turns around and faces her mother and says furiously “Did Jake tell you I’ve been drinking?”
Blair looks at her seriously and says, “No, you just did.”
Chloe looks at her mom and said, “So you just assumed and asked and I told you?”
“No, I already knew I saw you come in dunk yesterday night and decided not to say anything I figured it was a one time thing but then I saw you today with Josh and I had the last straw. So how did you get the alcohol?” Blair asks her daughter,
“Umm I just did.” Chloe lies
“That’s not gonna cut it Chloe, and you know it” Blair said
“The first time Josh had gotten us some fake ID’s and we went to a bar on the other side of the city close to the Bronx because we knew no one would know us there before I knew it I was drunk then the last thing I remember was him taking me home and I woke up in my own bed. I’m sorry mom.” She says.
“Sorry isn’t going to be enough this time. What you did was dangerous for your health and can be addictive and from what I’ve noticed your already hooked on it. The day after the reunion is over you are grounded for two months from the phone, the car, your friends and most of all Josh. Blair exclaims to her daughter.
“Everything but no Josh is okay, I love Josh and you can not stop me from seeing him!” she complains to her mother.
“Hun, if he really loved you he wouldn’t take you to some bar to get drunk then take advantage of you.” Blair said
“He never took advantage of me!” she exclaimed.
“Well then would you care to tell me what he was doing with my drunk daughter on the couch downstairs?” Blair asks her daughter infuriated
“I guess your right” Chloe says.
The phone rings.
Chloe answers it “Hello.”
“Hey Chloe I don’t think we should go out any more I really like you but I just don’t think its working bye” He hangs up
She hangs up the phone and breaks into tears. “Well I don’t think you have to worry about me seeing Josh any more, He broke up with me.” Chloe said.
Blair goes over to her daughter and hugs her.
Chloe calms down then asks her mother “What does dad have to say about all of this?”
Blair’s eyes get watery thinking about her husband, “I don’t know I never got a chance to tell him and I don’t think I ever will.”
Chloe looks up at her mother from where she’s sitting and asks, “What do you mean you don’t think you ever will?”
“Chloe I have something I’m going to tell you that I don’t want you to tell anyone else. Your father left us today. He said that he didn’t think our relationship is working out and that we should separate I asked him why and what about the kids and he said they’d understand. I didn’t know what to do or say and he just walked out the door and out of our lives.” She said with the tears she’d been holding back flow freely. Then she adds, “I’m sorry hunny”
“It’ll be ok mom I know it hurts you a lot and it hurts me too but we’ll survive.”
“Thanks Chloe, you’re a wonderful daughter.” Blair said.
“No, I’m not I drank alcohol underage and became addicted. I betrayed your rules and wishes I’m sorry but I’m not a wonderful daughter.” Chloe admitted.
“Yes you are, you admitted your addicted to the alcohol, and that you betrayed me and I know your sorry and if you want help you have it” Blair said sincerely.
“I want help, no, I need help” Chloe says,
Blair smiles and then says “I think I can help you after the reunion instead of grounding we’ll have you go to rehab everyday for the drinking and you will be helped.”
“Okay, but is the grounding still on?” Chloe asks.
“I think you learned your lesson enough and don’t need to be grounded.” Blair said then adds, “But I do think you owe an apology to your brother he really cares about you. Did you know saw you come inside the first night you came home drunk and he carried you up the stairs to your room and put you to bed so I wouldn’t find you in the living room drunk. I think you should talk to him.”
“Where is Jake?” Chloe asks.
“He’s in his room,” Her mother tells her
“Do you mind if I go talk to him now?” Chloe asks
Blair looks at her and says, “I think that’s a great idea.”
Chloe leaves the room and heads across the hall to Jake’s room, she knocks and asks, “Jake do you mind if I come in for a minute?”
“Sure come on in” He responds.
She enters the room and goes and sits by him on his bed. Then she says “I believe I owe you an apology I shouldn’t have made you keep my drinking a secret from mom. She knows, and She told me that you told her that you carried me to bed the first time I came home drunk. I wanted to thank you for that and I’m glad you care.”
He looks down at his older sister and tells her, “Your welcome, I just don’t want to see you get hurt. I love you.”
“I know you do and I’m going to get help the day after the reunion.” Chloe tells him then notices something different about him and adds “Did you get taller again? You must be at least 6 foot five inches by now. Girls are going to start calling you tall dark and handsome you know that?” She says and smiles.
“Thanks sis, it seems I’m going to be as tall as dad is if not taller. Lets see he’s 6 foot five inches and I’m at that now and if I keep growing I will be taller than he is. I’m already having a tough time finding clothes that are long enough.” Jake says.
“How about I take you clothes shopping tomorrow? Don’t worry about the costs I’ll buy it all for you kind of as an I’m sorry gift.” She asks him.
“That sounds great and I can get what ever style I want?” He questions her.
“Sure, whatever you want” She tells him then she hugs him and says “ love you too” and then she adds, “It isn’t as hard for me to hug you being 6 foot as it will be for mom and Miranda since both of them are 5 foot 5 inches.”
“I guess your right, it seems we got dads growth gene’s.” He says.
“Well I’m going to go take a nap let the alcohol wear off.” She tells her loving brother.
“Okay sleep well,” he tells his sister.
She leaves his room and goes to hers.
Back in Jakes room he smiles and goes out side his room to find his mother. He finds her in her den crying. He head over to her and puts a soothing giant hand on her back.
“What’s wrong mom?” he asks her.
“Nothing hunny, nothing.” She tells him
“Something is obviously wrong other wise you wouldn’t be crying.”
“Jake this is really hard for me to say to you but I have to say it. Your father left us today me you Chloe, Miranda. Chloe already knows and I’m going to tell Miranda when she gets back. It’s harder for me to tell you because you look just like your father every time I look at you I’m reminded of him when he was younger. But your different, you would never do what he did. I love you so much hunny.
“I know you do mom and I love you too, I’m sorry he is putting us threw this but we can’t do anything about it. We need to get on with our lives.” He tells his mother.
She looks at him and immediately notices he grew and says “Well mister tall dark and handsome you grew another inch you seem to be at least a foot taller than me now. It looks like your going to be taller than you father.”
Jake then looks at her and smiles “Thanks, I guess Chloe is right people are going to start calling me tall dark and handsome.”
She laughs and hugs her son, and says, “I guess so. Aunt Jo’s boys get the same thing since they range from a height of 6 foot five inches to six foot seven inches tall. They will all probably end up around six foot seven, or at least that’s what it seems like. You boys just keep growing.”
Jake then looks down at her and says “I guess we do, Isn’t uncle Tony 6 feet six inches?”
“Yea he is I guess all of them got their height from their father.” She told her son.
Just then they heard the front door open and Miranda yell, “Mom, I’m home!”
“Well I guess I’ll go talk to your sister about your dad.” Blair said
“Okay I’ll be up here if you need me.” He states
Blair makes her way downstairs to the family room where Miranda has sat down and begun to flip threw the TV channels.
“Oh hi mom” Miranda says continuing to flip threw the channels and finally gets fed up and turns the TV off.
“Hey hun I need to talk to you about something. Your father left us today…”
Miranda interrupted “WHAT? What do you mean he left us why didn’t you do something! Why didn’t you stop him?” She runs upstairs to her room, and shuts, and locks the door.
Blair just sits down on the couch and tries to think of what else she could have done and after a while of doing so she comes up with nothing she could have done different. She decides that Miranda would soon come to her senses and come out of her room. She decides to go to her room and take a nap.

Chapter 3
Natalie Harrison had just arrived at the Colorado Air Force base where her husband Colonel Mark Harrison flies FA-18 Hornets (for those of you who don’t know what a FA-18 Hornet is, it’s a type of fighter jet flown by both the Navy and Air force). She had taken him to work that day so she could take his car into the shop to get the tires rotated, and the oil changed. As soon as he touches down he fills out his flight log and gets out of the plane, he sees Nat and heads toward her flight suit and all.
“Hey Nat, I missed you.” He says then he leans in and kisses her lightly on the lips. “I missed you too. How is my favorite flyboy today” She asks him
“I’m doing good, are you ready to go?” he asks
“Yea why don’t I go bring the car up front while you go change back into you uniform.” She says
He looks at her and says “okay, see you soon” he goes off to the men’s locker room to change back into his uniform. He comes out later suited up and heads out front saluting a General as he walked by her. He soon made his way outside where Natalie had the car waiting for him. “Hey, how did Michael’s yearly check up go?” he asks
“It went like a yearly check up normally goes he seems to be at his full height of 6’ 2” only two inches taller than you, doesn’t look like he’ll be flying. He is 210lbs and they took another test that says out of the 210 pounds he’s only 6%body fat. I guess all that working out paid off. No wonder he has made star quarterback every year and has cheerleaders and every other girl in his school after him.” She tells him.
“Yea I know, I guess this means we should maybe invest in a few bench presses for him to use at home and one of those combination weight lifting machines and a punching bag or something like that for the basement so he can work out more at home. It makes since I mean he’s 16 he deserves it. He knows what he’s doing.” He add to her recent conversation.
“Sounds like a good idea how about we do it after the reunion.” Nat says
“Okay I like that” he says. Before either one of them knew it they were home. When they walked into the house they immediately noticed Megan was sitting on the couch her 5’ 10” figure stretched out chatting on the phone with one of her friends about god knows what.
“Jenny I’ve got to go mom and dad are home and that probably means dinner is soon I’ll talk to you later bye.” Megan hangs up the phone. And then asks, “hi mom, dad, when’s dinner?”
“Is that all you kids ever think about? Dinner is going to be in 15 minutes as soon as I get to start cooking, by the way what is today’s date?”
Michael comes down the stairs and answers her “It’s the 18th of December remember the reunion is in two days and we are beginning the drive there with Aunt Jo and Uncle Tony tomorrow with Carl, Danny, and Ryan.
“Oh my I totally forgot what today was I need to start packing how would you guys like pizza hut instead of a home cooked meal?” she asks them.
The rest of her family all approves and she goes over to the telephone and calls Pizza hut to order 2 medium pepperoni pizzas. Then she heads into her room to pack her clothes for the following day. After about an hour she comes out of her and Mark’s bedroom with two suitcases, and puts them by the stairs where the kids and her husband put theirs. They decided to drive along with Jo and Tony they would arrive later that night at their house in Colorado and spend the night and everyone would soon be off on their way to New York. The door bell rings and Nat goes to the door to answer it thinking it’s the pizza man but soon Sees Jo, Tony, Carl, Danny, and Ryan standing at the door with a small suitcase each. “Jo! Its so great to see you guys!” They hug then Nat looks up at Tony, Ryan, Danny, and Carl. “My, you boys have grown since I last saw you, and Tony you look better than ever.” She says then goes over to the stairs and yells up them “Michael, Megan, Mark get down here.” The rest of her family comes down the stairs to join her and when they see each other they all exchange greetings. Megan looks up at the boys in awe thinking to herself “these guys are more than any girl could dream about” she then comes back to earth and notices her mother saying “Megan…Megan can you hear me?”
“Oh sorry mom I was just thinking, what did you need?” she says to her mother.
“I would like for you and your brother to show the boys where they will be sleeping while your father and I show your Aunt Jo and Uncle Tony where they will be sleeping.
Megan responds saying “Sure follow us”
Megan and Michael start up the stairs with the other boys in close pursuit.
Meanwhile Carl’s mind is screaming at him “wow she’s hott maybe I should ask her out or something, I wonder if she even notices me or like me, I’ll try to talk to her tonight maybe get into her thoughts about me.” He thinks. Then says “So what grade are you guys in I think I know but I’m not sure its been a long time you know.”
“I’m 14 and in 8th grade, and Michael is 16 and in the middle of his junior year.” Megan quickly responds.
“Well that works out pretty well I’m also 14 and in the 8th grade” he points to his brother “and Danny just turned 16 and is in the middle of his sophomore year, and Ryan is 17 and in the middle of his senior year getting ready to graduate and go to UCLA.” Carl responds.
“That is a nice thing to know” Megan responds
They soon arrive at the guest bedroom where Ryan and Carl will be staying and they decided that Danny and Michael would share Michael’s room because it has a bed they can pull out from underneath Michael’s bed. The boys put their bags in their assigned rooms and head back downstairs.
Carl catches Megan on his way down the hallway to the stairs. “Hey is there someplace around here where we could talk I’d like to get to know you better.” He says rather smoothly.
Megan smiles “I’d like that, we could go down to the basement to the game room.”
Carl then smiled back and said, “Lead the way.”
They head down to the game room in the basement and when they arrive Carl sees it decorated in a black pain with black lights everywhere with all sorts of neon things.
Megan sees Carl looking around and says, “I helped design the idea of the black lights and neon.”
Carl “It’s amazing. So your dads a Colonel in the Air Force right? Does that mean you go to military school or something?”
Megan smiles and laughs “Yes he is a Colonel in the Air Force but what gave you the idea I go to military school?”
“I guess since your dads a Colonel he would want you to go to military school or something.” He said
“Well I see how you got that idea but no I don’t go to military school I go to a public school just about two miles away, you probably passed it on your wan in.” she tells him
“I think I remember it, the two story school with the blue roof?” he asks.
“Yep that’s the one.” She says then adds “So who are you riding with on your way up?”
“I’m riding with Ryan in the Mustang, what about you?” he states
“I’m riding up with Michael in his Dodge Ram.” She tells him
“The Ram is a nice truck, do you like cars?” he asks
“Yea but I only like the looks because I don’t know much else about them.” She tells him
“Well I guess we’ll have to change that” he says while smiling down on her.”
“I just noticed how tall you are you must be at least 6’ 5”.” She says while looking up at him.
“Yea, I am.” He says.
“Wow, that’s tall, I always thought tall guys were kinda cute.” She said then thought to herself “wow, I’m seriously flirting with him.”
Carl thinking about Megan’s serious flirting with him and decides to go along with it considering his hopes had come true about her liking him then responds, “Oh really, does that make me cute?”
Megan then responds to him while blushing “No, you aren’t cute your downright hott.”
Carl smiles a million dollar smile, and says “Thank you, you, are not just pretty you are beautiful.” Then adds “I was also wondering if you would like to go catch a movie or something sometime?”
Megan blushes again and says “I’d be honored to. Maybe we could do it once we get to Peekskill. I’d love to go with you. We better head upstairs or our parents will wonder what we’re up to.”
“Okay” he says as he takes her hand and walks up the stairs with her.
Nat notices the coming up the stairs from where her and Jo were sitting and she whispers to Jo “look at Carl and Megan”
Jo glances over at them and smiles then whispers back “watch this” then she says bluntly to Carl and Megan “We were wondering when you two lovebirds were gonna come up stairs.”
“MOM” Carl yells at his mother
Jo and Natalie are sitting on the couch Cracking up.
Natalie speaks up “you guys did kinda make it obvious” she points to their hands.
Megan then says, “I guess the secret’s out.”
“Yep it sure is and you guys’ pizza is getting cold you two better go eat some.” Jo says
The couple heads to the kitchen to dine.

Awsome don't even begin to decribe it

I know its been a while and this isnt much but i've been pretty busy and have had a case of writers block but here's Chapter 4 its short but i hope you like it maybe i'll add some more tonight.

Chapter 4
Tootie Wilson is sitting next to her husband John on their 757 Flight from LA to New York. Her kids Calvin, and Kara are sitting across the isle, watching Sweet Home Alabama on the big screen TV while John slept in a fitful sleep. The plane was just about to land and she needed to wake her husband up, she leaned over him and gently put her hand on his face and said, “Wake up hunny”
John woke up and smiled at her he then pointed to the kids who were still engrossed in the end of the movie, then said “For a 16 year old and a 14 year old they sure are anxious to get there.”
“Well I would be too if I were them, just remember they haven’t been to New York since they were very young, and since I’m taking them into the city they can’t wait.” Tootie explained to her husband.
“I guess your right hunny.” He responded
Just then the intercom came on, “This is your Pilot speaking we are nearing John F Kennedy International, I am now turning on the fasten seat belt signs will everyone please turn off all electronics and return their seats to the upright position. If this is your final destination you can pick your baggage up in baggage claim carousel D3. Thank you for flying American Airlines we hope you fly with us again!” the pilot tells the passengers.
While Calvin and Kara take of their headphones and begin to put their stuff back in their backpacks and put the backpacks down under the seats in front of them. Tootie and John were putting their books in their bags and then under the seat.
They arrive at the JFK and head to the baggage claim to get their luggage. Once they arrive they get their bags and stuff and head out to the Hertz car rental station and rent a Ford Explorer. They load their bags in the vehicle and Tootie hops in the Drivers seat and begins their drive to Peekskill.

Chapter 5
At The Little Inn In Peekskill, there is less than 30 minutes for Mrs. Garrett, Beverly Ann, and Andy to help Blair and her kids prepare for everyone’s arrival. The had figured some people would get there earlier than others so they decided to give them self a extra 2 hours. They now have only 30min till the 2-hour mark. Blair had told Mrs. Garrett, Beverly Anne and Andy that her husband was away on business and also told her kids not to tell the others and that she would tell them on her own time.
Just as they were finishing the final touches Mrs. G noticed a Dodge Ram, a Jeep, and a Mustang turn into the hotels driveway. She hurries to grab the others and they all gathered in the lobby incase the group was some of the others. Then the big front door of the hotel swung open and 3 teenage girls entered followed by 4 teenage boys carrying suitcases.
“Is this the place we’re supposed to be” Ryan says.
“What do you think?” Blair says when she rounds the corner of the lobby to the front desk.
“It’s great to see you again Aunt Blair!” Michael says.
The others nod.
Blair looks at them and then says, “Where are your parents?”
“They’re about a hour behind us. They are slow drivers.” Danny says.
Blair laughs, “Well let me make sure I can still remember who is who since I haven’t seen you in so long. I recognized you right of the bat Ryan since you still look just like your mother but a male version, and 6 foot 6in.” She studies the rest and looks at the blonde haired 6 foot 5 inch boy and tries to decide if its Danny or Carl and decides on Carl since he didn’t quite have the manly facial tones yet and Danny did. She points to Carl and says “Your Carl,” then points at Danny’s six foot five inch figure and says “then you Danny, My gosh you boys have grown so handsome not to mention tall since I last saw you” Then points to the muscular six foot two inch football star with dashing green eyes and says “Michael you sure have been working out since the last time I saw you ago so many years ago. And you look more radiant than ever Megan, you look so much like your father, and Michael looks so much like your mom. You all have grown so much, follow me into the lobby to see the others then we can get you situated in your rooms.” They all head to the lobby and put their bags down by some chairs and Blair heads over towards her family, Mrs. G, Beverly Ann, and Andy.
Mrs. G scurries over to the group of teenagers and greets them all with a great big hug. Then says, “My how you all have grown, you look so much different. I’m assuming your parents are a ways behind you since I know for a fact teens drive faster than adults do.”
“Yea your right as always Mrs. Garrett.”
Beverly Ann and Andy then greeted them and gave them all hugs
“It’s nice to see you all again” Andy comments
Blair then steps forward and says to her kids, “Come on over here,” they come and she adds, “you all remember Chloe,” points to Chloe, “Miranda” points to Miranda “and Jake don’t you?”
They nod.
Chloe looks over at Ryan the same time he looks at her and their eyes connect. Ryan then thinks to himself “She must have a boyfriend since she is such a vision of beauty.” He then smiles at her. She smiles back thinking the same about him. They walk towards each other. “You’ve changed so much since the last time I saw you.” Ryan told her.
“So have you, you want to go for a walk or something?” She asked him.
“I’d love to, let me put my stuff up first and to do that I have to wait till your mother gives out the keys. Maybe you could show me where my room is?” He asks.
“I’d love to, let me reintroduce you to my brother and sister then I’ll get mom to hand the keys out to everyone.” She then calls over Jake and Miranda after they are done meeting the others. “Ryan, you remember Jake and Miranda don’t you?” she asks
“Yea I remember you guys, man Jake your almost as tall as I am, I remember how short you were when we first met, and Miranda you look so much like your father its amazing, I’m sorry he has to be away on business.” He says.
“Yea business, if you’ll excuse me I’m going to go get mom to give use all the keys” Miranda says.
“What’s the matter with her?” he asks the other two.
“She’s just been a little upset lately.” Chloe said.
“Oh okay.” Ryan says
“May I have your attention everyone!” Blair says over all the talking going on in the room between the teenagers.
Everyone gets quiet.
“Ok now that I have your attention I’m going to give out the rooms as you all know there are two queen size beds in each room and two people will stay in those rooms. I have matched everyone up and here are who you will be sharing a room with; Ryan and Danny your in room 600, Carl and Jake you two will be in room 601, Chloe and Miranda room 602, Michael you will be sharing a room with Calvin Tootie’s son when he gets here, you guys’ room is 603, Megan you and Kara will share a room together when she gets here its room 604. Here are your keys, go on and get settled in, By the way there is a game room, a weight room, tennis courts, indoor pool, garden, and more accessible to you guys” She hands them all their keys and they all begin to head up the stairs
Ryan looks over at Chloe trying to carry all her bags up the stairs and says, “Here let me help you with those.” He grabs some of her bags for her and then picks up his own.
Chloe smiles at him, “thanks”
“Not a problem, glad to be of service” he says as they head up the stairs.
Blair looks up at them and smiles and thinks to herself “I’m so glad that my troubled baby finally found someone good for her that will take good care of her. Ryan’s a great kid and has all the great qualities his mother has.” She then hears the door opening and hurries out to the front desk
“Jo! It’s so good to see you!!!” She hugs her friend then says “Hey Nat, Tootie I missed you both! Hey Tony, John, Mark Its great to see you too. Kara, Calvin my how you two have grown. I’m sure you guys are anxious to go upstairs and see who your rooming with I’ll give you your keys and let you find out.” She hands them their keys and they head upstairs.
Jo smiles at everyone and says, “It’s been too long.”
Tootie then says “Definitely”
Jo then notices Chris isn’t there and decides not to mention it until she could talk to Blair alone. “So what rooms are we staying in?”
“Well, Nat and Mark are in room 605, Tootie and John are in room 606 and You and Tony are in room 607 right next to me. Let me give you your keys so u can go unpack.” She gives them their keys.
Nat, Mark, John, Tootie, head to their rooms Jo holds Tony back for a second.
“Tony, I’m going to talk to Blair about something do you mind unpacking for us?” Jo tells her husband.
“Not a problem hun I’ll talk to u later k?” He responds
“Okay” she says as he goes upstairs to unpack.
“Blair, I need to talk to you somewhere privately.” Jo says.
“Ok we can go to my office.” Blair says.
They go to Blair’s office and sit down, and Blair asks “What’s wrong?”
“Shouldn’t I be asking you that?” Jo says.
“I don’t know what you mean.” Blair says.
“Blair, don’t think I don’t notice Chris isn’t here and you didn’t mention him when you said that I was in the room next to you not you and Chris. What’s going on?”
“You always could see right threw me, um…I don’t know how to put this…” she says as a tear falls down her cheek.
“Blair, just tell me, It is obviously bad otherwise you wouldn’t be crying” Jo says in a sensitive and caring voice.”
“Chris left the kids and I two days ago, he just picked up his things and left, and I don’t think he’s ever coming back.” She says as tears flow down her cheeks
“Blair” Jo goes over to her crying best friend and comforts her. Once Blair calmed down Jo asked, “Do the kids know?”
“Yes, I ended up telling Chloe after I found out her ex boyfriend made them Fake ID’s and took them to bars up in the Bronx where no one would know them and that she is now a alcoholic. She is going to get help after the reunion is over I told her I’d take her to rehab and she would go threw that until she was better. Jake already knew, he is the one who told me he was worried about his sister but didn’t want to get her in trouble. But he eventually told me. And that’s how I found out about her, I forbid her boyfriend to ever see her again and told him to let her down easily over the phone. She’s such a rebel, I told Jake after I confronted her then, I told Miranda when she got home from the mall that day, Jake and Chloe had taken it pretty well, but Miranda was crushed she is still mad, and I don’t know how long it will be until she can deal with it, how long did it take you when your dad left?”
“I’m so sorry Blair, at least Chloe is going to get help, hopefully the next guy she meets will be a good one, It sounds like Jake is a great brother to care so much for his sister. Miranda will begin to cope with it I don’t know when but eventually she will, you should know how long it took me to fully deal with it remember I wouldn’t even go see him in prison. But I was stubborn she isn’t, she’ll deal with it sooner than I did. Just watch her, make sure she doesn’t get into the wrong crowd or into a gang. When are you going to tell the others about Chris? Jo asks her troubled friend.
“Thanks for the advice. Soon I hope, I’ll do it on my own time I don’t want their pity, you know? And Chloe has already found someone smart, tall, handsome is a gentleman and has all the great quality’s his mother has.” Blair says while smiling at Jo

“You gave birth to him.” Blair responds
“You mean Chloe and Ryan hit it off?” Jo asks.
“Yea immediately.” Blair says
“Well two of my boys have already hit it off, Carl and Megan figured out that they liked each other at Nat’s house the other night, maybe Danny and Miranda will get together, it just might help her to have someone else there to help her threw her dad leaving.” Jo states.
“Maybe we’ll see if it happens.” Blair says smiling.
“Oh yea Mrs. Garrett still doesn’t know you and the other girls arrived.” Blair remembers.
“Well lets go see her,” Jo says
They go to the lobby to find Mrs. G sitting down relaxing.
Jo then goes “Is this where I’m supposed to be?” in the thickets Bronx accent she can manage.
”Jo!!!! I’ve missed you so much!” Mrs. G says while hugging her.
“I’ve missed you to Mrs. G!!” Jo says. Then adds, I’d love to chat but I better go help Tony unpack he isn’t that good at putting things in the right places and stuff.
“I think I’ll go see how the kids are doing with their unpacking and things.” Blair says.
“Okay” Mrs. G tells her then adds, “I’ll just stay down here and relax.”

Chapter 6
Upstairs Ryan and Chloe run into each other exiting their rooms.
“Hey Chloe, would you like to go for a walk in the garden with me?” Ryan asks her
“I’d love too.” She says while smiling.
Ryan takes her hand and they head down the stairs and out the side door that leads to a beautiful garden. He then says, “It’s so beautiful out here”
“Yea you right” Chloe says then shivers a little.
Ryan reacts to her shiver, “here” he puts his coat over her shoulders and his arm around her to keep her warm.
“Thanks lets go sit down on that bench over there” She says while pointing to the bench.
“Okay” he replies.
They go and sit together on the bench Ryan’s arm still around Chloe.
Then Chloe decides to tell him about her and her problems to make sure he knows what he’s getting into and says, “I think I should let you know about some things about me. Awhile back I met this guy, we had started going out and he made fake ID’s for us. He decided to take us to a bar, I had no idea where we were going that night then I realized we were heading towards the Bronx. Once we got there he parked at a bar I said how the hell are we going to get in there we’re underage, and he pulled out the ID’s, and I went along with it, I thought ok just one drink I’ll be fine, well I was ok for the first drink then he ordered me a second one and I drank it after that it was all a blur I knew I was drunk he took me home dropped me off, Jake must have been up because he carried me to bed that night and when I woke up he confronted me I told him not to say a word. The next night I went out with him again and got drunk again, I must of passed out on the way home. Jake had stayed up late waiting for me and then took me to bed again, a few weeks later mom found me making out with him on the couch. She sent me up to my room after she told Josh to leave. Then she came up to tell me she knew I was drinking. I was an idiot and said I’m going to kill Jake for telling and she said no you did, I then said I was sorry and asked what my dad thought of it, and that’s when she told me he left us this was just 2 days ago keep in mind, and she told me how Jake had taken me up to my room all those times, and I agreed that I would go to rehab and get help. I wasn’t supposed to tell you about Dad but I needed to tell someone. And if you don’t want to be with me I understand, but I really like you a lot, and would love it if you would be with me.” She tells him with a few tears rolling down her cheek.
“Oh my gosh I’m so sorry,” he said as he hugs her and wipes her tears away then adds “I like you too and would love to be with you, and wondered if you wanted to go out say tomorrow night if that’s okay with you and you may want to check with your mom I don’t think she’ll mind though. I’m sorry your dad left you guys you mom must be having a rough time, and I’m assuming that’s what’s wrong with Miranda. As long as your going to get help that’s all that matters about the alcohol. I would love to help you quit. I know you are a great person and I would be honored to go out with you.” He says looking down at the lovely woman sitting down next to him, then adds, “Wow I just realized you only about 6 inches shorter than me, that’s nice considering my height its hard to kiss girls much shorter than 7 inches shorter than I am.” He says and leans over and lightly kisses her on the lips, then pulls away after a short moment.
“I would love to go out with you tomorrow night, I’ll talk to mom about it tonight but she probably will be okay with it.” She says
“Great, is there anyplace you’d like to go to, I don’t know any good places to go around here since I’ve only been here once before?” Ryan asks.
“Well, there’s this great little Italian restaurant right next to the ice-skating rink.” She tells him.
“Okay, how about we go there and then maybe go ice-skating afterwards?” He asks her.
“That sounds really good. Lets head back inside where its warmer, Maybe sip hot chocolate by the fire in the lobby, there’s a really comfortable couch in front of the fire place. If we hurry we may be able to get to it before someone else does.” She says while looking into his eyes.
“Okay lets go” he puts his arm around her back again and they head inside to the lobby where Chloe takes a seat on the couch and Ryan says “I’ll go get the hot Chocolate for us.” He leaves and comes back two minutes later and hands Chloe her hot chocolate then sits down next to her on the couch and lets his arm resume its now natural position around her shoulders.
She leans into him and whispers, “I like this.”
“I like this too.” He whispers back to her
Blair and Jo are on their way back down stairs and decide to go sit by the fire in the lobby to chat, once they arrive at the lobby Jo says to Blair, “I guess the fireplace has already been taken, the look so good together should we give them some privacy?”
“We should but we wont, come on lets go sit in on the couch to the side of the fireplace to the left of theirs.” Blair says.
They go over and Blair says. “Hey what’s up?”
Chloe responds, “the ceiling.”
Blair and Jo sit down.
Jo then says “uh huh.”
Chloe then says “By the way mom, Aunt Jo, Do you guys mind if we go out tomorrow night?”
“Where are you guys going?” Blair asks her.
“That little Italian place by the ice-skating rink, then maybe ice-skating afterwards.” She tells her mother.
“Its ok with me if it’s ok with you Blair.” Jo says.
“I think that would be ok, what time do you plan on being back?” Blair asks.
“What time would you like her back by?” Ryan asks.
“11:00.” Blair said
“Okay I’ll have her back by 10:30.” He said smiling at his Aunt Blair. Then he looks down at Chloe and says “What do you say we leave about 6:45 and get there around 7:00?” He doesn’t hear anything and looks down and realizes she’s asleep, and says “I guess I’ll have to ask her tomorrow. Aunt Blair would you mind if I carried her up to her room so we don’t have to wake her up?”
“I think that’s a great idea Ryan I’ll give you a spare key to open the door with incase Megan isn’t in there.” She gives him the key.
“I’ll give it back to you when I come back down.” He says
“No, keep it.” She says
“Okay I will,” He says smiling. He then lifts her up into his arms and heads upstairs to her room, he tries knocking and doesn’t get a answer so he manages to slide the card key into the slot and open the door he goes over to one of the beds and lie’s her down on it then pulls her shoes off and takes the covers out from underneath her and puts them over her and gently kisses her goodnight on the cheek before exiting the room.” Ryan then heads back to his room.
Back downstairs Natalie and Tootie have joined Jo and Blair in the lobby.
“I have something to tell you guys but I want Mrs. G here too. Jo, would you go get Mrs. G for me?” Blair asks
“Not a problem Blair” Jo says leaving to get Mrs. Garrett. Jo comes back 5 minutes later with Mrs. Garrett in tow.
“What is it Blair?” Mrs. Garrett asks.
“Well now that every ones here I’ll tell you. I’m sure you are all wondering why Chris isn’t here.” She starts
The others nod.
Blair then adds “Well about two days ago, he decided to leave the kids and I. Yes the kids do know, I didn’t know how to tell them, Chloe was first to find out I found out she had been going to bars in the Bronx with a fake ID with her now ex-boyfriend, Jake told me because he was worried about her and little did I know it had been going on for a couple of weeks and every night she went out with him she came home drunk, and I guess He would put her to bed all those nights. When I confronted her about knowing she admitted she has become a alcoholic and wants to get help, so I told her she would go to rehab I told Jake and he took it pretty well. Then I told Miranda after she came home from shopping with some friends, she took it the worst she still is mad and hopefully will cope with it soon, in a more calm way. Jo already knows as you all know she can see right threw us and immediately noticed something wrong and I knew I couldn’t hide it any longer and told her, I figured it would be better for me to tell you now than for you to figure it out and be mad at me for not saying anything.”
“oh my gosh Blair I’m so sorry about this.” Natalie said while comforting her.
“It’s ok, yea I’m upset but I’m dealing with it.” Blair said trying to smile.
“That’s good, I’m sure you’ll feel better with time.” Tootie said to her friend.
“It’s shocking when something like this happens, but in the end it will all turn out well, I guess god thought this is what was supposed to happen.” Mrs. Garrett told Blair.
“Well then god sucks.” Blair said laughing a little.
“God works in mysterious ways.” Mrs. Garrett says smiling back at Blair.
“I guess so.” Blair said.
“What about Chloe’s ex-boyfriend, what did you do to him?” Natalie asked.
“Well, I had caught them making out on the couch after I had found out about the fake id’s from Jake, so I her to go to her room, then told Josh her now ex boyfriend to leave my house at once and that he’s forbidden to see her again and to call her and let her down easily.” She tells them.
“Which he did? Right?” Tootie said.
“Yes he did.” Blair told her friend.
“How is she doing getting over him breaking up with her?” Mrs. Garrett asked
“Well she has already has a very handsome, tall, kind, and caring gentleman ask her out for tomorrow night.” Blair said
“You mean she’s going to drive to the city to see him?” Tootie asked clueless as in whom Blair was talking about.
“Nope, he’s staying here until after new years. You all know him, he’s a part of our giant family.” Blair tells her friends.
“I always knew Ryan and Chloe would sometime have a thing for each other.” Mrs. Garrett said with a sparkle in her eye.
“How exactly did you know that?” Tootie asked
“I remember the last time we saw each other they were going around every where together, remember how Ryan would always open doors for her and stuff. I knew then that they liked each other but neither knew it.” Mrs. Garrett said
“I guess we were too busy reminiscing to notice it.” Jo said.
“It looks like your boys are good at picking up girls Jo.” Nat said.
“What do you mean?” Tootie asked her friend.
“Well Tootie, Carl and Megan have already hooked up and now so have Ryan and Chloe, and if Jake and Kara hook up we’ll all be in laws I’m not saying it will happen or anything.” Natalie said.
“I never thought of it that way.” Jo said, and then added, “I guess we were meant to be related considering we practically grew up together as sisters.”
“Jo’s got a point. It was bound to happen sooner or later.” Blair says and adds, “This is off topic but I have recently been thinking about opening a couple new hotels in LA, and to do that I have to move there, and besides I want to be closer to all of you. I’ll be closer to everyone then even u Nat you wont be more than 10 hours away instead of 24. Now that Chris’s gone it makes no since for me to stay here, I was planning on telling you this but I needed to make sure I could sell Eastland, and I have decided to sell it to a very nice couple that would love to keep it running and keep it up. I still need to tell the kids, and I was thinking if one of you LA people would be willing to help me find a good house there. I already talked to Mrs. Garrett, she, Andy and Beverly Ann have volunteered to keep this place running and become the building Managers.”
“Well I think that’s a great idea. And I guess I should tell you all this, Mark has received a transfer to the Los Angeles Air Force Base and we will be moving there this summer. The kids already know, we told them not to say anything and that I wanted it to be a surprise to you guys.”
“Well I guess our kids will like it, those of them that hook up will have a better chance of staying together since they don’t have to worry about the long distance. And I’m sure Tootie and I will love to show you guys around and get you set up with a good house. I hardly ever see Tootie since she’s always so busy and lives on the other side of LA but I’m sure if we’re all there we’ll end up seeing each other more often than we do now.” Jo said”

congratulations. Well i got more typed today since i've been stuck either in my desk chair or in bed becuase my back and sides decided to become in extreme pain at 4:00 this morning so i had to go to the hospital and they dont know what happend so now i'm on davon or something like that for the pain so i've been sitting here typeing and taking my narcautics every 6 hours for the pan I know you didnt want to hear that but i'm sooooo bored sitting here in my chair with perfect pasture. Heres some more.

Chapter 7
Meanwhile upstairs in Miranda and Chloe’s room Chloe just woke up realizing that Ryan must have carried her upstairs to bed. Then she heard the faint sound of crying. She gets up and goes over to her sister lying down on the bed holding a picture of their father next hers. She kneels down beside her and takes her hand. “Hey, what’s wrong?”
Miranda just turned away from her sister and hugged the picture tighter.
“I miss him too. We all do.” Chloe continued, “It’ll get better, how about we go to the mall tomorrow and get some clothes for you and me? I told Jake I’d take him out and get some clothes sometime too, so how about it be just the three of us.”
Miranda turned to her face red with some tears still falling down it and said “I miss him so much, I just can’t believe he would do that, doesn’t he love us?”
“I don’t know why he left but I know he loves us. What do you say about going shopping?” Chloe says while comforting her younger sister.
“Ok and I’m fine with Jake coming with us. He can tell us if he likes the clothes we try on we need a guys point of view anyways. Maybe he’ll have some taste by now remember the last time we took him…” Miranda responded while wiping her eyes.
“Yea I remember he wouldn’t agree on anything he thought we should wear baggy pants with a hoodie.” Chloe said
“So you have a date with Ryan tomorrow night that why you’re getting clothes?” Miranda asked
“How’d you know that I didn’t tell you we had a date or that I liked him for that matter.” Chloe asked her clueless.
“I was coming out of the bathroom when I saw him open the door carrying you in and putting you to bed, then kissing you goodnight. He seems like a great guy, much better than Josh was.” Miranda explained to her sister
Chloe looks at her sister with a giant smile plastered on her face and says, “Your right he is a great guy, I like him a lot. Maybe you’ll find someone here there are thre good looking guys your age, you know, and from what Ryan tells me Danny’s single and he thinks Michael is but is not entirely sure, and neither of us are sure about Calvin, so I’d be looking if I were you.”
“Well I have had my eyes on Danny lately, he’s always been a really nice guy, maybe we’ll run into each and talk and maybe I’ll find out if he’s even remotely interested in me” she says smiling.
“How about I talk to Ryan and see if he can get into Danny’s head and figure out if he likes you or not. Only if you want me to that is.” Chloe tells her sister
“You’d do that for me?” Miranda says
“Of course I would I’m your sister aren’t I?” Chloe says smiling
“Thanks sis.” Miranda says smiling back at her.
Meanwhile downstairs at the pool Jake is swimming laps when 14-year-old Kara comes in to the pool area in a two-piece bathing suit.
“Jake, is that you?” Kara asks him
Jake sticks his head up from the water. “Yea it’s me how are you doing Kara?”
“Good, mind if I come on in and join you?” she asked the tall swimmer.
“No, I’d love it if you joined me.” He said to her smiling.
“Ok, let me go put my stuff down” She says while starting to walk away.
“Kara, you can put it over my mine, it’s the table with the red towel, t-shirt, shorts, and sandals on it.” Jake said to her.
“Okay.” She goes and puts her stuff down on the table and slides her sandals off, and then goes over to the diving board at the end of the pool and dives in.
Jake stands in the 4 feet deep area of the pool in awe of her perfect dive and says to her once she surfaces near him, “Where on earth did you learn to dive like that?”
“I’m on the school diving team back in LA.” She tells him then adds, “It takes practice and patients.”
“That’s cool. I skateboard, and I’m on the school swim team, and I also play ice hockey.” Jake told her.
“I kinda figured you were on the swim team or a diving team since not many guys wear a Speedo.” She said
“Yea, at the big public pools, and water parks I wear trunks, but when I’m at a hotel or at practice I wear a Speedo.” Jake explains
“I see.” She says then decides to have a little fun and splashes him with some water.
“Hey!” he says while laughing and splashing her back he then stops splashing back and says “how about you take a few more dives and I swim another lap or two, and then we go hop in the hot tub?”
“Okay” Kara responds.
After about 10 minutes of swimming and diving they both go over to the hot tub Jake tells Kara to get in while he goes and turns the jets on. When he comes back Kara is already relaxed in the hot tub, he walks down the steps and in to it with her and sits down by her with this back to the jet next to the one she’s using. “Hey, you comfortable?” he asks her.
“Yea very do you and your family come here often since your mom owns the hotel?” Kara asks Jake.
“We come about once a summer as a vacation from the city.” He tells her
“I see. We better get going my mom said Mrs. Garrett planed a special dinner for all of us and that we better not be late, and we still have to go get ready.” Kara says.
“Yea your right.” He says while getting up and heading towards the steps out of the hot tub.
Kara follows him and they head over towards their stuff and each grab their respective towels and dry off. Then Jake puts his shorts on over his Speedo.
“Oh crap, I forgot to bring my shirt down to wear on the way back to my room.” Kara says.
“Here, take mine I’ll be fine with out it.” Jake says handing his shirt to Kara.
“Are you sure?” Kara asks
“Yea its fine with me, I can get it back later, it’ll probably be a little big but it will work.” He tells her.
“Okay, thank you so much.” She says then puts his shirt on over her swimsuit and then wraps her towel around her waist. They slip their sandals on and head over to the elevator, to the sixth floor where their rooms along with everyone else’s rooms are.
“Well I guess I’ll see you at dinner” Jake said once they reached her room.
“Okay, see you then.” She said as she got out her key and entered her room, that she shared with Megan. He had shut the door for her and left toward his room after she went in, and found Megan sitting on the pull out sofa watching the TV in long black dress pants and a blue velvet shirt that goes very well with the pants. “Hey Megan.” She said and then added, “I’m going to go hop in the shower so I can get ready for tonight.”
“Okay I already took mine and am ready so it’s free for you, I’m going to go see if Carl wants to go do something.” Megan told her roommate.
“Okay have fun.” Kara said entering the bathroom.
Meanwhile in Jake and Carl’s room Jake has just arrived back and he finds Carl lying on the bed in kaki pants with a black turtleneck sweater, and Docker boots on his feet, he then asks, “Hey Carl dressed up for Megan or for the dinner?”
“Both” Carl responds.
“I see, what do you think I should wear to the dinner. I was thinking my green sweater with black Docker pants and my black Docker boots, like the ones you have on.” Jake says.
“I think that would look good.” Carl says
They hear a knock on the door.
“I’ll get it.” Carl says getting up. He goes and opens the door to see a radiant Megan standing there. “You look beautiful.” He says to her.
“I’ll just be in the shower.” Jake says and leaves for the bathroom.
“ Thank you, you look extremely handsome. Carl, I was wondering if you wanted to go do something for about thirty minutes before dinner?” Megan asks him.
“Sure I’d love to, let me grab my wallet and we can go.” He goes over to grab his wallet and comes back to the door and says, “lets go.”
They head downstairs and step out on to the large patio and sit down on a one of those swinging benches.
“I like your outfit a lot, your blue shirt brings out your lovely blue eyes.” Carl tells her.
“Thank you, I really like the way you did your hair the spikes in the front make you look really good.” Megan responds looking into his gorgeous gorgeous green eyes.
He looks into her blue eyes as well then clothes his eyes, then leans in and gently kisses her on the lips, after a few seconds he pulls away.
“You know, you’re the only boyfriend I’ve ever had that has been so gentle, kind, caring, and such a gentleman. It’s great to have a guy like you.” She said.
“I think you got that backwards, it’s great to have a girl like you. You’re the only girl I’ve gone out with that is so kind, beautiful inside and out, and doesn’t talk about herself so much my ears are about to fall off, you’re the best.” He tells her smiling.
Megan smiles back at him and says “We better be off to dinner so we can get seats together.”
“Okay, lets go.” Carl responds. He then hesitantly puts his arm around her back and leads her to the restaurant in the hotel, Where Mrs. G had been working in the restaurants kitchen all day long to prepare the feast. When they get there they see the adults heading in and follow them in.
Blair spots them and says, “You two are the first two here besides the adults, I’ll tell you how the tables and who sits at them going to be set. The adults will be at the long table on the right and all of you young adults will be at the table on the left.”
“Ok thanks Aunt Blair, are there like assigned seats or anything?” Carl asks her.
“No sit where ever you want.” She tells them
They look at the table and it has 10 seats 4 on each side and one at each end, they decided to let Ryan sit at the head considering he is the oldest, and Chloe sit to the right of him so he would let Megan sit to the left of Ryan and he would sit to her left. He goes and pulls her chair out for her she sits down and he pushes her in then sits in his own seat. The others file in a few at a time when Jake arrives he pulls out a chair for Kara who conveniently arrives at the same time next to him so that he is sitting between Chloe and Kara. Then Danny arrives with Miranda in close pursuit he pulls out a chair for her next to Carl and then sits on the other side of her. Calvin arrives and sits down to the right of his sister Kara. When Michael gets there he sits at the end opposite of where Ryan is going to sit. Finally Ryan and Chloe come down together, her arm in his both dressed up very nicely Ryan takes his respective position at the head of the table after pulling out Chloe’s chair and seating her and says “Well I guess all of us are here.”
Meanwhile at the adult table the adults are getting ready to sit down each husband is pulling out chairs for his wife with the exception of Andy who is pulling out chairs for Mrs. Garrett and Beverly Ann. Blair excuses her self to the ladies room and Jo notices something is wrong and follows.
Once she reaches the ladies room she sees Blair standing over in the corner crying and says to her, “hey, what’s wrong?”
Blair looks up at her face red from crying, “Its just seeing all of you so happy with your husbands, makes me hurt so much, I guess I’m kinda jealous. Can you believe it me jealous of you I never thought I’d see the day.”
“Blair, I’d say I know how you feel but I don’t, but I know you’re lonely. You know what though, I’m sure you will meet someone else, someone better than he was.” Jo tells her best friend.
“You’re probably right. I’ll be out in a minute I need to freshen up some.” Blair tells her.
“Okay. See you soon.” With that Jo heads back into the restaurant dining room. Once she is sat down at her table she says “Look guys, With Chris leaving Blair she’s a little down and jealous of our relationships so we may want to cool it down a little ok?”
“Okay” they all say
When Blair gets back she stands by her chair after tapping on her whine glass and says “May I have everyone’s attention?” everyone at the two tables quiet down she continues, “I wanted to find a good time to tell everyone this a few people already know but only a few, I figured tonight was as good of time as any. I want to let everyone know I have planed to open three new hotels in LA, and to do that I have to move there, I figured I’d let everyone know including my family that we will be moving there this summer. In addition to the hotels, most of you all know that Chris left my family and I two days ago, and this is the second reason I want to go to LA, because there is more of our family there” she moves her hands around motioning to all of them then continues, “I believe Natalie and Mark have the next announcement to be made, so I’ll hand it over to them.”
In between announcements Chloe notices Miranda has left and politely excuses her self during the clapping from her moms announcement the men at the table stand up when Ryan pulls her chair out for her and she leaves.
Next Natalie starts to speak, “To make a long story short Mark has received a transfer to LA, and we accepted it. We’re also going there this summer.” Everyone claps for her and her family.
Carl whispers to Megan, “I guess this means we can see each other more often than we could if you were in Colorado.”
She whispers back, “I guess so.”
Meanwhile Chloe is up in her room checking for Miranda. “Miranda are you in here?”
She hears a very quiet voice mumble, “Ya, you found me.”
Chloe walks over to the bathroom where she sees her sister sitting on the toilet seat with tears running down her face. She hugs her and says, “I know you must be upset about going to LA. You’re thinking, first I loose my dad now I loose my friends. Well that’s not true you may have lost dad, but you wont loose your friends we can come to New York every summer and visit and maybe on breaks, and there’s always e-mail and instant messages and phone calls.”
“I know but it wont be the same.” Miranda tells her.
“I know it wont be the same, but think, You will be closer to me in LA, closer to Daaaannnnyy” she says dragging his name out in a teasing way then adds “You’ll always have someone to go to when you have a problem if not me or mom, or Jake, there’s always Aunt Jo, Aunt Tootie, Ryan, Danny, Carl, Kara, Calvin, Michael and all our uncles. Trust me it will be ok.”
“Maybe your right, I guess I’ll just have to wait and see.” She wipes her tears and says “let me fix my make up and then we can head back down stairs.”
Chloe nods then says, “Okay.”
When they both get back down stairs the gentlemen stand up and Ryan pulls her chair out for her and they all sit down
“Where were you two?” he then asks her.
Chloe responds saying, “She just needed someone to talk two. What did we miss?”
“Well, Uncle Mark got a job transfer to LA and him, Aunt Nat, Megan, and Michael are moving to LA also.” He says smiling at her.
“That’s cool, I guess that means you two will be spending some time together, huh Carl?”
“I guess so” he says smiling over at Megan then looks back to Chloe and says, “I guess that will go for you and Ryan too, even though you two will already be together at UCLA.”
“Yea, your right.” Ryan tells his younger brother then he looks over to Danny who is engrossed in a conversation with Miranda. He motions for Chloe to take a look. She looks over and sees the two and smiles over to him and says, “I need to talk to you about something later on.”
Ryan nods wondering what it could be about.

Chapter 8
After Dinner they find out from Blair that there is going to be a special dance for all of them as part of the reunion. Every one goes to the dance room that has a DJ and lots of music, there is a sliding door that leads outside to a patio and a few little paths leading to the now lit up garden.
Ryan and Chloe step outside on to the patio and walk along one of the paths to the garden until they were at the bench they had sat at earlier that day. Chloe looks over at Ryan and says, “let’s sit down,” they sit down on the bench
Ryan’s arm in its now usual resting spot around Chloe she then continues, “You have to promise me not to tell any one about this, Miranda told me she kinda had thing for Danny, I told her I could maybe talk to you and see if you could find out if he had any interest in her.”
Ryan interrupts her for a second. “I think I can see what your trying to get out, you want me to not tell Danny Miranda is interested in him but to get in his head for ya. Well I already know he’s got a thing for her did you notice he way he looks at her, he looks at her like she’s a goddess, kinda like I look at you and think of an angle.”
“Aw your so sweet, Well I’ll kinda drop the hint to her..” Chloe says until Miranda comes up and says
“I don’t think you’ll have to do that.”
Chloe looks up at Danny with his arms encircled around Miranda so the back of her head is resting oh his chest.
Ryan then looks over to her and says “I guess they figured it out on their own.” Then he adds looking over at the new couple, “Why aren’t you two in side dancing?”
Danny then says to his brother, “We came out here to find out why you guys weren’t.”
“We came out here for some privacy.” Ryan said.
Danny took the hint, “c’mon Miranda I think that was a hint for us to leave them alone.”
She then say’s “I think I got the same hint. Lets go dance.” They leave to go back inside.
Ryan gets up of the bench and puts his hand out and says, “May I have this dance?”
“Here, outside?” she questions him.
“Yea here, its more peaceful out her no nosey busybodies or anything like that either, so what do you say?” He asks her
“I’d love to” She says taking his hand and getting up.
They begin to slow dance Ryan’s arms around her back and her arms round his neck both of them swaying to the music. By the end of the first song they have gotten closer and it has become more of a swaying hug than dancing. He pulls her tight into his arms and hugs her. He then leans down and whispers in her ear “Do you believe in love at first sight?”
She looks up at him and says, “If I didn’t I wouldn’t be here with you.”
He looks back down and says, “How about we go back inside I don’t want you to catch a cold out here.”
“Okay” she says while looking up at him.
Once they are back inside Carl comes up to him and whispers in his ear “The DJ is taking requests and dedications, I suggest you request and dedicate one towards Chloe.”
Ryan nods at him and says, “I’ll be right back Chloe.” He goes over to the DJ and looks threw the book with the list of songs that he can request he looks threw them and finally decides on God Must Have Spent A Little More Time On You by N*Sync.
Danny walks over to Ryan and asks, “What did you request?”
“Well, I’m about to request God Must Have Spent A Little More Time On You by N*Sync and dedicate it to Chloe.” Ryan tells his curious brother.
Danny looks at him and says, “that sounds like a good idea.”
Ryan goes over and puts in the request and writes down the dedication for the DJ to say he writes, “To the woman that god must have spent a little more time on, from the man who truly believes god did.”
The DJ looks up at him and says “Just in time your song is up next” he then looks over to his microphone and says “This song has been dedicated to the woman that god must have spent a little more time on, from the man that truly believes god did.”
Ryan then walks over to Chloe and says, “May I have this dance?”
“Sure” she tells him
When the song is over Ryan looks down at a smiling crying Chloe; he leans down and kisses her gently on the lips for a few moments then releases. “God must have spent a little more time on you Chloe.” He tells her.
“I think he spent just as much time on you, you’re really something special.” She tells him wiping her eyes then adds, “lets go back to the table and sit down I need a short break.
Andy walks over to them, with Tony, Mark, and John, and says “We have got an idea when looking threw the list of songs we could request but we need to ask you guys first, we were thinking of having all of us dedicate a song to all of your mothers and mine and we need your help getting them all on the dance floor including Mrs. Garrett. Tony will get Jo, Mark will get Nat, John will get Tootie, and I will get my mom. I need someone to get Blair out there and someone to get Mrs. Garret out there.”
Jake raises his hand and says, “I’ll get mom out there.”
“Thanks you’re a great kid Jake” Andy says smiling at him
“Now what about Mrs. Garrett?” Mark asks
“I’ll do it.” Michael says to his dad along with everyone else.
“Thanks son.” Mark says.
“I have one question, what’s the song.” Calvin asks
Andy then whispers the song in to each kids ear.
“Okay let’s get to it.” Kara says.
“Ryan will you walk over to the DJ to request it and dedicate it while we get your mom Aunt Blair, Aunt Nat, Aunt Tootie, Beverly Ann and Mrs. G on the dance floor?” Tony asks his son.
“Sure dad” Ryan says before walking over to the DJ, he the writes down the song and writes “This goes out to all the moms from the whole family.”
Meanwhile Jake walks over to his mom and asks, “May I have this dance mom?”
Blair looks up at her son and smiles, “sure.” She gets up and walks over to the dance floor with him where all the other mothers and Mrs. G are gathered
The DJ’s voice then comes over the speakers again “This special song has been dedicated to all the moms from the whole family.” The Perfect Fan by the Backstreet Boys begins to play over the speakers, and they all begin to dance slowly to the music.

When the song was over every mother in the room was crying, yes even Jo was crying along with the woman we never saw cry yea you guessed it Mrs. G. They all looked at their kids and went over to them..
Jo went over to Ryan, Danny, and Carl and hugged them one at a time.
Blair hugged Jake first since she had been with him for the entire song and whispered to him in his ear, “Thank you so much for dancing with me and making me a part of this moment, and you always were the perfect son.”
He looked down at her and replied, “Thanks mom.”
Blair looked back up at him and said, “I guess I better go thank your sisters.” She gives him one last hug and goes over to Chloe and hugs her gently and whispers in her ear also, “Thank you, now go have some fun with Ryan, I noticed you guys out there in the garden earlier today, I’m glad you two finally found each other.”
Chloe looks at her mother and says, “So am I mom, I really like him a lot. He’s not like the other guys; he’s kind, gentle, and caring. I hope sooner or later you find someone just as good.”
Blair looks at her daughter after hearing those heart filled words and says “So do I hunny.” Then adds I’m going to go thank your sister. Blair goes over to Miranda and says, “This means a lot to me, thank you. I know your having a hard time with dad leaving and moving to LA, but I think that in the end it will be ok.”
Miranda looks at her mom, “Your right, Chloe told me how good it could be and that I’ll probably like it and that maybe we could visit New York every summer for a week or so.”
“Your sister is right. We will come up for a week or two during the summer and see Mrs. G, and Beverly Ann, and Andy, and all your friends.”

Well since this was quite a long chapter you may have to wait a day or two for me to finish chapter 9 considering i was working on 8 a lot yesterday and some of today. now i have to get a few chapters ahead agian.

hey everyone i know its been a long time since I posted and i'm sry. I've been busy with school and crap like that but i will be able to post much more often now that my last day is wensday!!! here is some to hold you over.

Chapter 9
By now everyone is done hugging and stuff, people begin to go to their rooms while the DJ packs up and leaves after Blair pays him. Ryan escorted Chloe to her room and kissed her good night at the door, Danny and Miranda followed and instead of kissing her he hugged her tight and said good night. Next Carl came up with Megan he kissed her goodnight on the cheek then retired to his room. Jake came up with Kara and walked her to her door and told her goodnight and left to his and Carl’s room. Calvin and Michael came up after them talking on their way down the hall and went to their room. After about an hour the adults slowly headed up the stairs. Mrs. Garrett was the first to go to her room followed by Beverly Ann. Fifteen minutes later Andy, Tootie, and John went up their rooms. It was a quarter to eleven when it was just Jo and Blair Tony, Nat, and Mark had all went up deciding it was getting to late for them Jo had told Tony she’d stay downstairs for a while.
They had been sitting in silence for a sort amount of time when Blair decided to speak up. “Today’s been a great day, I still can’t believe how much our kids have grown, in all ways. Your boys are so tall it amazes me, heck Jake’s height does to. It’s just so strange seeing them taller than I am.”
“Trust me Blair I know how you feel, one day I wake up and all my boys are finally taller than I am. Carl, looks so much like Tony it’s amazing Danny is somewhat of a mix he has his father’s hair and bone structure but looks a little more like I do, and we both know Ryan’s the spitting image of me but with Tony’s height..” Jo tells her friend.
“I know, Jake looks a lot like Chris all except for his blonde hair, which we both know he got from me, Chloe looks so much like me its scary, but she has her fathers bone structure, Miranda is just the opposite she has my bone structure explaining why she’s the only other short one in the family, well besides me, and has her fathers colorings.” Blair explains.
“I find it even weirder that all three of my boys like girls from our Eastland family.” Jo says.
”Oh I know, and I know my kids are the same way. Even though Jake hasn’t admitted it I think he has a little crush on Kara.” Blair tells her best friend.
“I think your right, he asked her to slow dance with him earlier tonight, and she obliged.” Jo responds.
“Well, we’ll just have to wait and see.” Blair says.
They both get up and head upstairs to their respective rooms for the rest of the night.

Chapter 10
Meanwhile in Jake and Carl’s room they are quietly laying in bed when Jake speaks up, “Carl, what do you think about Kara?”
Carl looks over at him and says, “I think she’s a nice girl, why?”
“No reason really.” Jake tells his roommate.
“No reason my foot! You like her don’t you?” Carl asks him.
“Yea I do.” Jake says quietly.
Carl once again looks over at him and then says, “then why don’t you ask her out?”
Jake looks at the ground and says, “I don’t know exactly how, you see I’ve never had a girlfriend before.”
“Oh, well what I would do would be to ask her out to a movie or ask her if she wants to go out for pizza sometime then give a date for example, Friday at 6:00.” Carl advises his friend.
“Ok, how about I say, Hey Kara you want to go to a movie and maybe for pizza afterwards Friday?” Jake says to Carl.
“Sounds like a great idea to me.” Carl tells him, and then continues, “Lets go to sleep now, from what I heard you have a pretty big day tomorrow going shopping with your sisters.”
“Yea I do.”
Both the boys go to sleep.
At the same time in Ryan and Danny’s room they are both up watching some TV before they go to bed when Danny asks his older brother, “I’m going to ask Miranda if she wants to go to the movies tomorrow do you think that you and Chloe would like to come? I’m probably going to ask Carl if he wants to come with Megan.”
“We can’t go I’m sorry, I all ready asked Chloe to go to the little Italian restaurant and ice skating afterwards..” Ryan tells him
“Ok, I guess I’ll just ask Carl then” Danny tells Ryan.
“You’ll have to get mom or dad’s permission but I think it’ll be ok.” He pauses, and then continues, “So you really like her huh?”
“Ya, I do. She’s beautiful, kind, a great personality. What about you and Chloe, you two seem to be getting really close.” Danny says.
“Yea, I guess we are getting closer and closer as out relationship goes on, I really care about her. She’s the most I ever wanted in a girlfriend, she’s beautiful, inside and out, she’s kind, loving, and caring. I love her a lot, and hopefully you’ll feel the same about Miranda in time.” Carl tells his brother.
“I hope I do too.” Danny says smiling.
Carl yawns and turns off the TV signaling its time for them to actually go to sleep.

Chapter 11
The next day Mrs. G and Beverly Ann are downstairs in the kitchen preparing breakfast waiting for everyone to wake up and come downstairs. They are working on the Eggs when Tootie walks down stairs completely ready for her day. She sees Mrs. Garrett and Beverly Ann working and decides to go and help them.
“Hey Mrs. Garrett, Beverly Ann need some help?” Tootie asks them.
“We’re almost done all I need is for you to take the muffins out of the oven and breakfast is served.” Mrs. Garrett tells her.
Eventually everyone gets down stairs to eat, Chloe and Ryan find a somewhat secluded table to sit at, as Miranda and Danny do the same. Jake, Kara, Carl, and Megan all find a table and sit together. All the adults sit together at a large table. Calvin and Andy go and sit down by the pool to look for chicks as they put it. Michael then finds a seat by a dashing girl that was seated alone and begins to chat with her.
“Hey, what are you doing her all alone?” He asks.
“My, parents and sister are upstairs getting ready and I thought I’d come down and have some of the hotels breakfast, when I came down this woman I believe she said her name was Mrs. Garrett told me I could have some of the breakfast she was cooking for a group. Very kind woman.”
“Yea, Mrs. Garrett is the best. By the way, my name is Michael and you are?” he asks
“It’s nice to meet you Michael, my name is Sarah.”
Michael then looked at her and said, “Well it’s a pleasure to meat you Sarah.”
Sarah blushes and says, “Thank you.”
Meanwhile over at the Adult table Jo and Natalie were having a conversation.
“I really can’t believe how well all our kids get along. I don’t think we ever got along this well, but I guess each generation is different.” Nat tells Jo.
“I know I can’t believe it also. Its so great that they are though.” Jo says
Nat nods
Jo continues, “Maybe we should get one of those family photos of the kids then one of all the adults and one of each family.”
Nat smiles and looks to Jo and says, “That’s a great Idea I’ll talk to Blair about calling a photographer.”
Jo then nods and smiles.
Now over at Jake, Kara, Carl, and Megan’s table they are all talking when Jake whispers to Kara, “Can I talk to you alone?”
Kara whispers back to him, “Ok I’ll excuse us.” She then speaks up, “Hopefully you two will excuse us for a few minutes.”
“That’s no problem.” Carl says
Kara and Jake get up and walk to the lobby, which is empty, then Kara asks “So what did you want to talk about.”
Jake looks down at her and then says, “Within the last few days I realized I’m starting to like you a lot and I was wondering if you would maybe go to a movie then dinner with me Tomorrow night?”
Kara looks up at him her eyes full of love and says, “I’d love to. I like you a lot too.”
Jake smiles then leans down and kisses her cheek.
Kara looks back at him and then says, “you call that a kiss? Get down here.” She then kisses his lips lightly and says, “You’ll find out what a real kiss is from me later. But that’s just a preview.”
Jake smiles then says to her, “Your so beautiful. I’m so lucky to have you as my girlfriend.”
They head back to the table.
Calvin and Andy are having a boring meal since not a single girl is at the pool and they have no one to look at.
Calvin speaks up, “This sucks, two single men and no women around for them.”
Andy looks over at him and says, “Yea this town has always sucked for picking up chicks.”
“Then how come Michael already picked one up?” Calvin asks him.
“Luck?” Andy said
“I guess so.” Calvin answered.
