If you could experience the lifestyle of any decade before your time, which would you pick and why?

If I could travel through time I wouldn't go back - I'd go forwards. I'd go'n find a time where people are all cool with each other and there isn't so much hatred and prejudice going on.

what Mossopp said was really good,but i think id choose the 60s. thats been the best decade so far

I dunno much about past decades, but maybe the 60's or 70's because I like all the "flowerpower" and lights and "bell-bottom" jeans. :rock:

I would want to be born in 1917 (thanks cara, lol..) yeah, so i would be old enough to enjoy seeing gwtw be made...and yeah if i did manage to go back in time i would find myself a way to get into selznick studios...

Hmm... prolly the 80's. The 80's seem like they were really really cool. I only lived in them for a little while and im too young to remember....lol.

I'd go back to the 1970's, I love the clothes, the music and the shows.

Seeing that I was known as THE TIME LORD on the Facts of Life site off and on with my heroic adventures in Lisa-La-La Land, of course I would have to say, the 80's. Cars were fast, women were faster, and the guitar solos went beyond the speed of sound!!!!:rock: :guitar: :guitar: :rock:

I'll have to continue my saga on that site, I'm not even finished...

i wouldn't go to any decade in recent history. i'd go back to the middle ages some time. i love history and the fact i'd get to carry a sword and kill things with little repercusions is just cool. but if i had to choose i would go to the 20's and become a gangster

The 70s. I have no idea why, except that the TV rocked. And Richard was single. See, I always have an ulterior motive. ;)

The 50's, the 20's, and the 70's. But first the 70's...:grineyes:

I'd rather go into the future but if I had to go back in time, I'd pick maybe like 1969, 1970.

If I had my way, I'd be born in 1963, so I could have grown up in the 70's, and I could have been in college by the early 80's. I could have grown up with all my favorite 70's and 80's music. I was born in the wrong era.

I'm with Mossopp. If I could travel in time, I'd be future bound.

And there had better be jetpacks...

Kind of an interesting concept, "if we had our way"...So the way I see it, we're in this giant bubble-dome between time and space and we're asking the Mighty Time Centurions which era we'd LIKE

MTV needs to bring back Headbangers' Ball.

The 80s because I love the music, films, stars, everything 80s.

I'd also like to go back to the 60s or 70s so I could attend a Beatles concert.

I'd like to go back to the 30s, too.

I'd either do the back to the Future thing and go into the Future so I can see what my life is going to be like
or I'd go to either the 50s, the 40s or the 80s

1950's- It was the best years IMO. The age of innocence and drive-ins!!!
1976- Id go see Happy Days & Laverne & Shirley live.

The 60's. I would go and see the Beatles at Shea Stadium.

Either the 1950's during the I Love Lucy era and all that good stuff or I would go way back to the late 1800's/early 1900's. Don't know why, but I can picture myself in that sort of lifestyle the upper class lived at that time. Sad, huh? :lol:

I wish I was born in 1975 that way i could grow up and be a teenager for most of the 80s and the begining of the 90s. And I would be able to enjoy all the great sitcoms befoe they went into sydication.

I would say the 50s .. I only see the 50s in movies and to me it looks like thats when things started getting good......
