Hey, all you GI buffs out there.
Cool, by the way, I found this site today.

Is there, or is there not, a remake out there of THE BALLAD OF GILLIGAN'S ISLAND?

It seems like a couple years ago or so a rock band re-did the GI song. I want this song terribly. If anyone can lead me in the direction of finding it, please do! It seems like it had the same lyrics, etc but a different beat. THANKS!

Yes i believe i know what ur talking about i have it in fact! I think its like the CD Version... Try Napster and stuff like that, cause i got mine from Napster(Thou it was awhile ago, i dunno if itd still be on there...) It will just say "Tv Themes - Gilligans island.....

Napster isnt very good anymore since the law suit. aimster has a lot of the Gilligan's Island theme songs E.T.C.

Gnotella is good, but it has spyware. So does audiogalaxy, bearshare, limewire, etc etc etc...at least so far I haven't found anything with Morpheus.

Moo, are u sure Gnotella has Spyware? Out of like all 74 negative reviews on download.com, none of them mention It having spyware, also watch out on Morpheus thou..... I have heard people have got viruses from there(I know this topic is old but i just now saw Moo's reply on Gnotella, LOL!) :)

Yeah, I downloaded this thing called "adaware" from a good friend of mine and it searches out all the spyware, and every time I used Gnotella it picked up new spyware. gnotella, limewire, and bearshare all use the same line...and they all have spyware. (You might have tons of it in your computer and not know it, by the way, cuz even some websites have spyware built in.)

And yesh, i hear about the virus warnings all the time...but that's the risk you get like with anything you use on the internet. The trick is to scan EVERY file with an up to date virus scan like Norton or McAfee immediately after you download it...or if you hear from people a certain name that has viruses...don't download from that name. You can block them, I believe.

Not to worry, I like to check back to see if someone said something about a post I put up often too...lol, and it could be AGES past. heh
