I think love is there and it's the most beautiful thing ever. It's gotten me through so much, I'd be lost without it. I don't mean love from my parents or boyfriend, just plain ol' love. It's a wonderful thing. And you guys do know love, you've been loved and you love. It's a great feeling.

Heck yes I believe in love. It's not all that hard to find. It's as easy as fallin' off a log. It's a little harder to keep and It's easy to lose it too but that doesn't mean that it wasn't worth having. I'm talking about lots of different sorts of love. Friends, parents, siblings, lovers and even board members! It's out there. The first thing you have to do to know it when it finds you is to believe in it.

Yes, of course. I'm only 16 so ya know I haven't really been in love, boyfriends and crushes. Maybe someday I'll fall in love but I don't see that happening anytime soon.

despite the hellish love life ive had so far, i still believe in it.

Ive been in love once. From 8-12 grade. Well, it started out as a crush, but I believe it turned into REAL love. Obviously it was only my feelings not his (it was a crush, not a real relationship), but I just think it was real love. I mean, the last class I had with him was in 9th grade and I still liked him in 12th even though I never saw him. He could come up to me now and ask me to marry him and Id probably say yes. For some reason, I think he is my soul mate.. but if he was wouldnt we be together now? I know its not a crush b/c I dont spend my days thinking about him like I did in school- actually I never think about him.. but I just feel as if hes "The One".

I have been in love once but she didn't return my feelings. That was a long time ago and I've never felt that way again. So much has happend to me since then and I've taken crap from so many people that I feel totally disenfranchised from the human race now. I fear I may never be able to bring myself to fall in love again. I'm too cautious now.
I also don't think that I am capable of being loved. Only 2 people have ever expressed any interest in me but it was just infatuation - they didn't really love me. They were both male anyway so it wouldn't have made any difference to me. Girls never seen to like me 'in that way' and there are no other gay women in my stupid ******** little town anyway!
'Love' is a word that's over-used in today's society. Too many people use that word without taking the time to think about what it really means. There are so many couples in the world but I think probabaly only 10% of them are actually 'in love' - the rest are just together cos they can't do any better. I don't want to be one of those people.

Thanks Lacey! I have been really blessed and I try not to take it for granted! We have had our bad times but that's all in the past. My husband is quite a guy! I have mentioned this before.. My husband is the most honest person that I know!

I believe in love and I believe there's someone out there for me It's just the matter of finding them. I have never experienced love before and I see myfriends falling in love alot and I wish I could have a boyfriend I want one so bad.

I know how you feel. There's this guy I know that I've been in love with since the third day of sixth grade (that's over 5 years now). He's always been very nice to me and we've always been friends. I think he even liked me in seventh grade, but due to a certain friend of mine, that changed. I hardly ever see him, but when I do, I can't keep my eyes or my thoughts off of him. My many other crushes come and go so fast, but this one has endured. So I think it's love.

I agree with that totaly, Like I said earlier in this thread I beleive in love and I know there is someone out there who is right for me. I have never experienced love either,but I see other people fall in love all the time and I wish I could have a girlfriend, I also want one so bad, but I know the right girl is out there somewhere.

There are different types of love. There's love for your family, love for your friends, romatic love, etc. I believe in love in general because without love, you wouldn't be alive. If you weren't able to share or feel any type of love for anyone, I don't think you'd be around very long. And I even beleive in romantic love, even though I've never experienced it, and may never experience it for all I know. But it's gotta be there... sure 50% of marriages fail, but there's another 50% that work. I think sometimes it's hard for people to find the right someone. But you gotta believe in love...

You know, as much as romantics might disagree, I do believe this is a very logical, realistic statement. I've noticed a lot of people limit themselves by saying "Who am I to think I'm special enough to do any better?" I think we all owe it to ourselves to wait for the best. For that person who we say, "I have to have him/her or I don't think I can go on." Someone who gives us that feeling deep within our souls. Who fits so perfectly. I haven't experienced it yet. Sure, as a teen I think I fell "in love" with everyone. I was such a romantic. But, as an adult, I try to be more logical. I'm still looking for that one person who fits like the final, missing puzzle piece. Unfortunately, that person who fits me only exists in a television show.

I really dont know. Sometimes I do, sometimes I dont. Depends on if the guy I like talks to me lol
