View Full Version : Howard Cunningham: Just Your Average Pimp
CollegeGirl 02-22-2003, 06:08 PM That's right! My reason springing from this. On Happy Days the other day, Marion explained that Howard would be late because he wanted to stay at the store to sell another "hoe." Then, when he arrived he explained that a guy came in and bought a "hoe." Maybe it's the whole Happy Days Porn Names thread that has warped my brain, but I couldn't help but laugh.

Tuscadero 02-22-2003, 07:12 PM I actually had that same thought when I heard the "hoe" references! :)

Ouch! He must be "raking" in the big bucks down at the shop. :lol:
White_Daisy 02-22-2003, 07:59 PM I thought the same thing too!!
We all have such dirty minds. But you'd think that the writers would know that it would be a dirty reference. Maybe they wanted to sneak it in there....so that's why Howie went to go wash his hands....

Tuscadero 02-22-2003, 10:39 PM Love your sig, Shotz...LMAO! I liked the last pic that you had, too.
I just wonder...did the writers try to sneak that stuff in? I mean, it was the 70s/80s...it's not like "Leave it to Beaver" where there's absolutely no innuendo whatsover (I really tried to find some).
Chad22 02-22-2003, 10:46 PM You should watch A Goofy Movie closely. My friend Jacob and i seen a ton of Dirty Stuff LOL. They all kept grabbing their crotches but did it in a way that it wasnt noticeable unles you really payed attention!

Barnabas1 02-23-2003, 08:24 AM ROTFLMAO! :rotflmao::lol:
White_Daisy 02-23-2003, 09:47 AM Besides Mr. and Mrs. C's obvious "frisky" references, the show got pretty sinful (well, compared to its earlier seasons) in the 80's (or the 60's for them). Joanie and Chachi sharing a room. Jenny actually talking about Fonzie being...naked ?!?! That line was so wrong. I mean, that was the first time "naked" was mentioned on the show and no matter how desirable Fonzie is, not a pretty visual.
Moonlight Lady 02-23-2003, 10:58 PM Oh um...yeah okay, I don't..um...no.
:lol:
Fonzie Naked. Uh...:eek:

Hey, I thought that part was funny. I know if I was in Jenny's shoes, I'd be doing the exact same thing! ;)

Actually is wasn;t the first time. During the Graduation, Richie asked Fonzie something about celebrating and Fonzie mentioned he was ready to,( I think with some girls, as usual) as he was naked underneath the graduation robe!

I remember that. Something about it being a hot day and he was going to walk in his gown because he was so proud of it. Mrs. C commented it was too hot, I think. And he said something like, "Don't worry, I'm naked under here. AYY!" Now that one was a bit odd. No matter how much I like a guy, I think it's just a bit too strange to wear nothing under a graduation gown.
Tuscadero 02-24-2003, 10:14 AM Wait a sec...you mean going naked to graduation (save for cap and gown) isn't normal? *Makes mental note*:idea:
