I am looking for a video of the episode where the castaways do the musical "Hamlet" Is it available anywhere? I would be a great think after teaching HAMLET to my class to see how many jokes they can get from it ( and it is a wonderful childhood memory for me)
If you have any answers for me e-mail me at Scot2964@aol.com THANKS
The Hamlet episode was called "The Producer" with guest star Phil Silvers. You can probably check on eBay, and see if anyone is selling it, because there have been numerous tapes released.
I think it's great that you want to show it to your class, it's really funny if you know the play (my sister and I still sing the songs together), and all I can say is I wish my teachers had been cool enough to show it!
I ask to be
Or not to be,
That is the question

Hamlet, dear, your problem is clear, Avenging thy
father’s death; You seek to harm your uncle and mom, But
you’re scaring me to death. While I die and sigh and cry,
That love is everything; You’re content to try to touch, The
conscience of a king. Since the day when your dad met his
fate, You just brood and you don’t touch your food; You
hate your ma, mad at my pa, You’ll kill the king or some
silly thing. So Hamlet. Hamlet, do be a man, let Rotten
enough alone. From Ophelia no one can steal yea You’ll
always be my own, Leave the gravedigger’s scene, If you
know what I mean. Danish pastry for two, For me, for you. TINA AS OPHILIA!!!!HEHEHEH
