Jimbo 10-21-2001, 07:11 PM I've seen various interviews and "behind the scenes" features on "Gilligan's Island". It seems like most of the cast, along with producer Sherwood Schwartz, does not have a high opinion of Tina Louise. There appears to be some particularly bad blood between Tina Louise and Bob Denver. I did not hear the interview on the Howard Stern show (let's just say that I am not a Howard Stern fan, and leave it at that!). If you saw the made-for-TV movie (on Sunday, Oct. 14th), Tina Louise was not, to put it mildly, portrayed in a positive light. If that many people connected with the show feel the same way about her, I have to believe there's something to it. (By the way, the actress who portrayed Tina Louise in the movie bore an uncanny resemblence to her!) |
