View Full Version : Hallmark March 2003
TVJunkie101 02-21-2003, 08:46 PM EDIT:
Effective March 9th, Sundays at 11:00pm Quincy, M.E. will air.
The schedule, unfortunately, is the same. I know another thread was started about this, lol, so, I probably shouldn't have started a new one...
Anyway, the only schedule change, is Saturday, 6:00am, is now Bewitched, replacing Gomer Pyle USMC.
Hallmark sometimes changes their schedule in the middle of month, so let's hope there are some changes after March starts.
If you want to move this into that Hallmark thread, that's fine by me.
dawsongirl 02-21-2003, 09:41 PM Boo Hiss!
LucyFan 02-28-2003, 01:47 AM Hallmark for now is shame to watch! :(
No "Lucy Show", No "Mork and Mindy", Hardly "Bewitched" and Jeannie. Too bad :(

Didn't you say you have every episode of TLS?

I hope the versions they air aren't as badly edited as the ones recorded from WHMB in Indiana. I got a whole bunch of M&M episodes in a trade there and quite a bit was edited out of those episodes.

Bewitched starts March 8, Saturdays 6-7am. Also, 9am weekdays starting March 10 is The Big Valley, Beverly Hillbillies is down to just 9:30am starting March 10.

Half hour The Big Valley? Isn't it an hour show?

I know, I am guessing BH will not be seen at all weekdays then, unless for some reason Hallmark wants to show The Big Valley as half hour editions.

Oh Ok, Thanks for clearing that up. By The Way, Are I Dream Of Jeanie and Bewitched going to leave Hallmark when they go to TV Land?

Yeah they will leave. It was said they would expire Dec 31, 2002, but I guess they have it until end of April or end of May. TV Land starts Bewitched May 31 and I Dream of Jeannie on June 7.

Czas na Zywiec 03-02-2003, 05:26 PM Okay, is anyone else besides me dissapointed in Hallmark? It used to be a great channel for the classics. I mean, they completely god rid of their Comedy Kickback on weekdays and all they do is play Westerns. That's fine, but I think they could find room to play both westerns and sitcoms. They've really gone downhill since last summer.

I am. Cut down on the way too many airings of Perry Mason and show just one episode of Hogan's Heroes!

I'm pretty disappointed too. Look at the schedule. It's just pitiful. They could leave all those shows on there, just remove all the extra airings. Add some variety. Has creativity flown out the window? Seriously.... I know it's so much easier to create a schedule that involves double takes, but it just sucks after awhile.
I am so happy that I'm not a fan of Perry Mason. I'd be sick of it by now from the look of the schedule.

With The Walton's being brought back to TV Land, it would be nice if Hallmark could pick up a show like The Love Boat, since TV Land is dropping it.
Hallmark definitely airs alot of the same programs that's for sure.

Exactly. If I were in charge of Hallmark, here's the sked I would make mixing the Westerns and Sitcoms.

That way, you have room to play six sitcoms during the day and you still get all the Westerns in the morning and look, you still get The Rifleman at midnight. Then, when Bewitched and I Dream of Jeanie leave, just add new sitcoms that Hallmark has the rights to. And it's as simple as that. I know most of you hate double takes, but it works when you have a 24 hour network, or in this case, 18 hours.

Yeah, I like your schedule.
If it were up to me, I'd leave off Jeannie and Bewitched. I don't have anything against either show, but once something disappears, it just makes you crave for it to come back. If Jeannie and Bewitched disappeared for awhile, you'd have that craving. Since it will leave Hallmark and go directly to TVL, you might just have that ho-hum feeling. Oh, it's on another station. Yay. *changes channel* No craving feeling there.

Yea, I know what you mean. I thought about leaving those two out but if it wasn't coming to TVLand in the near future, it would have fit in good with the rest. Just move two other shows to Hallmark after they leave.
TVJunkie101 03-04-2003, 05:46 PM Hallmark corrected their schedule, 9am M-F is The Big Valley (full hour). The Beverly Hillbillies is now only on Saturday's, 9am, starting the week of March 10.

Not trying to sound like I'm sad or anything because I can't stand BH, but wow. Hallmark really is getting worse. I mean, they just picked up Hillbillies and Hogan's Heroes and after four months (or two months in Hogan's case) they reduce it down to two airings a week, and at bad times. They officially have no sitcoms on weekdays. This is bad...:thumbsdow
