Okay I was looking at nan.com and looking at the sched. and when after they play "One for the Road pt.3" There skipping 19 Diane eps andgoing straight to ep 19,then ep 32. After ep.32 then NAN is gonna go in order from 32. This is why I Hate NAN! Okay I am trying to cool down. Who else thinks this is messed up?

I hate N@N as much as I hate TV1 who show reruns here and are very good at doing things like skipping entire seasons or showing the whole of season 9 backwards.

Anyhoo, yeah, I think N@N's scheduling stinks, but it's still better than nothing. I don't think Cheers has aired regularly on any Boston station for a couple of years now. UPN showed it over the summer, but replaced it last September with That 70's Show :crying:

All the eps they are skipping I have on tape. So it's kind of good for me if they skip some to get to the ones I have missed. But I know where you guys are coming from. Nick at Nite is ********!

It's stupid, but there might be a method to their madness. The Cheers season one DVD is coming out in May, so maybe Paramount (which is owned by Nick's parent company, Viacom) thinks the demand will be greater if the season one episodes hadn't been shown on TV for a while. And Nick is basically the only outlet for Cheers for most people these days, so if they don't show season one, chances are a lot of people won't see season one.

Of course, season one is only 22 episodes, so that doesn't really explain why Nick is skipping to episode 32.

I agree it is annoying when N@N skips episodes. I really like the first season especially the first episode. I guess we'll just have to wait for the DVD to come out.

According to my cable, tomorrow night N@N is airing Whodunit from season 3 and Strange Bedfellows, part 1 from season 4. So for some reason they are skipping every Diane episode they can. Maybe the episodes with Rebecca get better ratings.

Some nonsense from a N@N program director said they only have the rights to air certain episodes. They pay to own them for a few years but only have permission to air particular ones, which is idiotic. You buy (or rent) a show you should have access to every single one, not some sort of package.
