Has anyone read A Modest Proposal by Jonathan Swift? We were reading that in English today and it was not what I had in mind. It was written in the 1700s, so I thought it would be confusing to understand without the teacher. But it's so disgusting. The author's saying that kids are too much of a burden and that they should be sold for food. People found this funny, and some guy was like "so, did they like have BABY back ribs or what?" It was easy to understand though.

You know, I think I have to read that next week! So that's what it's about, huh? Interesting.
