What are some of the little things you do that drive your parents absolutely insane?

*I drink way too much coffee
*At dinner I flip my retainers around in my mouth
*I'm up at all hours of the night (not my fault- I'm an Imsomniac)
*I'm always turning the heat up
*I blast my music
*A lot of my music they hate :lol:

-I burp/fart around the house. Hey, never said I was a lady!!
-Laugh too loud to Conan.
-Stay up all night.
-Wont go to school yet.
-Dont pick up my room.
-Dont help around the house.

I'm quite convinced that everything I do (or could do) would annoy my parents.

My parents are convinced that everything I do, I do to annoy them.

Although I am a mature adult I drive my Mom crazy because I don't share her Republican ideas! Funny thing is that when she was my age she was a staunch Democrat!:lol: But the older she gets the more conservative she gets! I hope I NEVER get THAT old!:eek: Other than that she is the greatest and most devoted Mom that I could ever wish for! Love her!:eyes:

Everything I do annoys my parents!!!

* I dress like a guy
* I cut my hair as short as possible
* I spike my hair or style it into a mowhawk all the time
* I swear
* I never eat
* when I do eat, I only eat junk food
* I cover my bedroom walls with pictures of women (this really freaks my mum out!!)
* I refuse to wear make-up
* I hardly ever leave the house and when I do go out I always go to bars
* I drink all the time
* I spend a lot of time in the internet
* I play my music really loud
* I throw fits (I can't help it - it's outwith my control)
* I spend 70% of my waking life watching TV

Being a Mom of two adult children myself that would drive me insane too!:lol:


But I have to say that my son does like The Beatles and plays Beatles on his guitar! Yay!:thumbsup: :guitar:

I'm no doctor, but I'd say those two things are connected with eachother. ;)

Amazingly, they aren't. :lol: I gave up coffee for a month- I was still up all night. I have an idea of why I don't sleep.

And, looks like I've forgotten some-

*I spend way too much time on the internet

*I eat the majority of 4/7 days of the week
*Like Crystal mentioned, I laugh too loud at the late night shows
*The sometimes hate the way I dress...don't ask why. I don't know.
*I swear. It drives my mother nuts.

I'm convinced my parents hate me so it doesn't exactly matter anyway :lol:

Playing with my eyebrows
Taking too big bites when eating
Getting on the floor with the dog (All I just do is scratch and pet her, nothing wrong with that, is it?)
Forgetting to do what I'm told (emptying the dishwasher, putting my dirty clothes down the laundry chute, feeding the dog, etc.)

-Cussing too much
-my room always being a mess
-spending too much money on music
-the music i listen to
-my taste in girls

thats all i can think of, theres probably a lot more.

*ask a question more than once
*go on the internet
*get B's

*breathe

-Am on the internet too much
-hate school
-have no life
-like gwtw/ viv
-want to go places
-hate her b/f

-Typing on the computer.
-Chewing gum.
-Not doing anything.
-Telling them to bug off when they ask me stupid-a** questions.
-Not being perfectly cheerful 24/7.
-Refusing to eat vegetables.
-Asking them if I can do something and not explaining why.

What it comes down to is, my existing drives them crazy. The feeling is mutual, however.

-not get along w/ my "uncle" and refuse to call him by that

Nice. My dad talks all the way thru whatever I'm trying to watch. I turn on closed captioning and ignore him. Works nicely.

* my dad gets mad when I say "friggin'" (he'd best not go out with my friends and I then)
* always online

* make plans without telling them and then getting mad when they say no

I know there's more... my mom is nice, but my dad is just pure evil...

I also use all the hot water when I take a shower...that bugs the hell outta them.
