Since there is a thread about noises you hate, I was just wondering, what are some weird noises you like?

For me, I love that crackling noise the vacuum makes.

I like hearing the wind blowing through the trees. It's a very comforting sound.
I also like listening to waves lapping on a shore. I live practically right on the banks of a loch and at night, if I sit out on the balcony of my house, I can hear the waves hitting the shore. It's brilliant.

thunderstorms and air conditioners.. ya know, like the window units.

when i have my tv, satt dish, and vcr on and then turn the vcr off it makes this little "blip" sound that i love...lol


i also love the sound of rain, thunder, ocean waves going over pebbles

and my cats whiney meow

I love the sound of crickets chirping on warm summer evenings

The sound of a rainstorm.

Hearing someone say "I love you". to me.

Hearing my dog's happy bark when I come home.

The sound of a young child's laughter.

The sound of the wind going through the trees.

The sound of my mother's windchimes.


I could go on and on...

Aw, I wish I lived where you live...

Anyway, I love silence. That's my favorite sound :p Others include...

*Someone whispering in my ear
*Sounds of crickets and wind at night.
*Piano music.
*Someone telling me "I love you", or "I'm right here"...you know. Comforting words. Unfortunately, they don't come often.

Hmm.. dunno. I like annoying noises, but only when I make them. When someone else taps or whatever, its like STFU.

I LOVE the sound of the rain.

Let's see...what else? When my cat meows, the sound of the bell at the end of the school day, my favorite songs, and the sound of my air cleaner at night (b/c it blocks out the other sounds in my house.) And those voices in my head. Gotta love 'em. :joke:

I like the sounds of a thunderstorm at least until it starts hailing, then I don't like it as much, I also like my favorite songs, marching band music and the sound of the water of the lake hitting the rocks. I have more bu these are the top ones.

I like to hear "You've got mail" when I log on to aol.

I also love it when you're at a gig or something and the entire audience is singing at the same time and they sound just like one voice. That's amazing.
