I'm glad to have the endings, but in doing so, they cut out some great parts. In Barney's first car, they cut the septic tank conversation, and the part where they are driving, and a noise starts, Barney ask if Andy can here it. It falls off, and Andy says " Whatever it is, I suspect it won't hurt us now". They've also chopped up some great stuff from many episodes. It is annoying as hell. My small rant for the day.

Editing sucks. TVL used to be pretty good with the edits when the channel first came out. Now the edits aren't so good.

The Andy Griffith Show and Sanford & Son they have cut them up terrible saying that something wasnt politically correct on S&S its a wonder they dont stop showing the one where andy lets opie fight the bully who takes his milk money saying thats offensive or politically incorrect

Because they already have refused to show one episode of the Munsters one of the cleanest shows ever because eddie and herman defend thereselves against bullies

I believe thats either episode 53 or 153. But as far as Tvland editing Andy and other shows it PISSES ME OFF BIG TIME

Yeah, episode 53.

TV Land has a strange way of saying what is acceptable. A few months back when they did a special on the Dick Van Dyke Show, Rosemarie said G D twice . Odd that they would find this acceptable to air and the Munster episode about defending yourself against a bully unacceptable .

On the episode where the man stealing cows put shoes on him, they edited out a major scene. When Andy decides to stay and wait to try to catch the thief, Barney comes back and says I'll wait with you. Andy says it may be a lamebrained idea and Barney says...I remember when another mayor accused you of having a lamebrained idea...when you decided to make me your deputy....cutting out that great part of the show was criminal !
