Does anybody know if Mr. Gaines (Kelly's father) owned Cheers before it was sold back to Sam? I could of sworn he was a part of the same corporation that bought Cheers from Sam.

I thought it was Evan Drake who owned it.

Cheers was owned by the company Rebecca worked for, Lillian (she explains the name in one ep, forget which one) until Sam bought it back when he turned in Robin.

Mr. Gaines didN'T own the company but was a high powered exec who Rebecca had to throw a party for once (the one where Woody meets Kelly and he 'fights' her old b/f). Evan Drake also didn't run it, but was also just a higher-up power. i think the only time we saw the CEO or whoever was in Executive Sweet (the 2-parter w/ One Happy Chappy in a Snappy Serape), when the little kid genius was it.
