View Full Version : Well... we're starting over again!
maclen 02-19-2003, 12:24 PM With last night's "Altercation" episode and TV Land skipping the last three episodes of the series, we start over with episode #1 tonight.
For me, this works out great because it'll give me the chance to tape the episodes from the first season that I missed this last round (it occured to me that I could tape the show when the second season had just begun... duh!), and then I missed a few more because I fell asleep, forgot to set the timer, etc...
And why am I telling all this?... I don't know, I guess it's kind of a useless post.
Like I always say, I need to get out more! :smurf:

I'm so mad that they aren't showing the finale:mad:
Janice 02-20-2003, 01:03 PM I'm mad that they're not showing the finale as well. I'm giving Barney Miller a rest for a while since I just watched the complete cycle, or at least I think I did.
I'll pick it back up in a while, and I'll still watch it now, but not every single episode. It's not always easy to stay up late, and I have no idea how to set the timer and my manual was tossed away years ago.
I'll still check in here often though to read and post comments. :)
egregiousgirl 02-21-2003, 04:18 AM Gah! All I wanted was to see the final few episodes of Barney Miller--what happened?! I don't think there were any bombs or anything in them, so why didn't TVLand show them?
I'm not too mad because I only started watching at the beginning of season 3 so I'm still seeing new episodes for me, but really, it's the principle of the thing. Boo TVLand

Check out TV Land's Lame-o excuse (in my opinion). I still replied with a kiss-up post (I'm "fuzzbox1" there), hoping that it would elicit a response, but so far, nothing...

LOL, that has happened to me so much. I was taping I Love Lucy (I'm not sick of it anymore, I gave it a years rest) and missed both the loving cup episode and Superman episode TWICE, lol. So...
I also missed #4 of Barney Miller. I thought I had an 8 hour tape set on SP (I tape a few other shows late night and then re-edit the next day) but it was only a 6 hour, so I only got the first like 2 minutes. UGH.

Well, that's two minutes more than the rest of us because they haven't shown episode 4 ("Graft") in the current round or the previous one! :)

I'm pretty sure they did; it aired at 6:30am, the 21st, after Bars & Tones. But before the episode started, it didn't have the usual TV Land type background with the episode #, so I can't, off hand, be sure what episode it actually was, but TV Land's schedule said #4. The episode started with Chano talking on the phone about obscene calls, or something like that.
DetectiveGriffin 02-23-2003, 01:43 PM just checked my vcds, ive got 4. whew
