I always loved jean Byron who played the lovely Natalie lane on the Patty Duke Show. She was such a lovely lady and mother on the show. Can anyone tell me if she is still alive? I agree with all the past comments that she and William Shallert were excellent as the parents, two of the most realistic parents on TV.

According to IMDB.com's website she is still alive, I saw her on an epsidoe of SWAT when the TV Land cable channel aired the series and she played the nurse on the episode. When I saw her on some other series but I couldn't figure out her name. I was surfing around on IMDB's site I found it. Jean is definitely a lovely lady and a beautiful one as well. When I saw her on The Patty Duke show and the episode of SWAT, I fell in love with her. She definitely a great actress.

Jean is a wonderful lady. A really grand dame. I've had the pleasure of knowing her for the past four years and spoke to her on the phone about a week and a half ago. Yes she is a beauty of a woman. She had an uncredited small part as a human in Conquest of the Planet of the Apes in 1972.
