All I need is an english sonnet having to do with Valentine's Day. Could be pro or anti.
Ten syllables each line-- 14 lines.

Since most of us are trapped in a blizzard anyways, might as well? :p

Please? :D

Are you looking for someone to find you a sonnet written by a famous poet or for someone to write one for you? (Yah, I must be horribly bored. The snow is starting to get to me. )

I know this is pretty bad but I was bored. I'm what you'd call a lazy poet.

Valentine’s Day is really great and cool.
I love it so much, more than anything.
It is so so so so so so so fun.
It’s the best holiday in the whole world.
I think I’ll repeat what I have just wrote.

I think I’ll repeat what I wrote again.

"Roses are Red, Violets are Blue"
Happily goes the famous poem
Disregarding those who rue
Feeling on their hearts, many a tome

Love is in the air
For those who know they have a lover
They can have their feelings to bear
Others hide at night, 'neath their lonely cover

A holiday of cards, no longer for the Saints
Many know it as that hell that taints.

that was fun! Haven't done that in such a long time!

It's too bad I can't claim it as my own, though. :(

It did give me some ideas, however. Thanks! :yourock:

Aw shucks, go ahead and take it. That's the excess junk in my head after cooking all day.

Glad to have helped, good luck with the project!
