LOL! On the first date Gary was so confident the date went well that at the end of the date he had the nerve to "hold the camera man hostage" while supposedly his date writes her number down. LOL!

Gary: "I just want to hold you hostage right now while my date writes her number down in peace, because it's the right thing to do."

(Foot Steps)

Gary: "Oh, there she goes again."

(Foot Steps running)

Gary: "Where you going?"

His Date: "Bye... I'm leaving, I'm going home."

Gary: "But I didn't even walk you to the door yet!"

Then Gary slithers in the limo and says "All I want to do is go home."

Then he had tears in eyes while in the limo as it drove off. Then they showed a clip of a Diff'rent Strokes episode (Arnold's First Date) when Arnold told Willis "I'll never get married, never have a girlfriend, I'll be on a bench at a park feeding birds." Then at the end of the second date they showed another clip of the same episode when Arnold said to Drummond "Dad, I made a total fool of myself" then Drummond said "Son, probably the reason it didn't work is because you just aren't ready to date yet."

It was almost as if that Diff'rent Strokes episode reflected his real life situation with his dates. LOL!

The producers did do a good job of splicing that DS episode in with Star Dates.

The ending of his first date still is confusing to me. Okay, while he was talking to the cameraman, where was the first girl supposed to be coming from when she ran up the steps? I thought both of them were in the backsat together coming back from their date which is why I was trying to figure out where she was coming from when I saw her running up the steps. Can someone help me with this.

That episode was pretty painful to watch. You can't help but feel Gary Coleman was set up and exploited, or maybe some women are just harsh and cruel by nature.

At the end of the second date Gary gave her a cheap plastic toy Helicopter. Then the Host said to the camera man "With that cheap-a** gift he's giving her, they're going to have a quiet ride home." In the credits, the first date was playing with him like a puppet and she told him to act like a muppet then Gary said "Who Telly?, Telly?"

I'm still trying to figure out if she was making fun of his height, why would he start going along with her and act like a muppett. I didn't understand that at all.

Maybe that part was all in good fun, but that mother and daughter asking the question "where is the little guy?" I thought was totally wrong.

Both girls were pretty rough on him, but as I've said before, he asked forsome of that. He's just too bitter.

It seems to me like Gary got rejected by both women long before he opened his mouth. I get the feeling that E! has very little interest in playing match maker, just pairing up celebrities with certain MOTOS that will generate the most outrageous behavior. It wouldn't be too hard to screen out women who have no interest in dating men under 5 feet. At least they didn't pair Gary up with a 6+ foot Amazonian type of woman.
