About a week ago I was watching this movie at my brother's house. It was the STUPIDEST movie I ever saw. Annnnnnyway, Jim Backus and whoever played Harold Hecuba were in it. But what I found weird was, it was made in '83, after the movie the Thurston Howell IV was in. That was the movie Jim had one scene in because he had Parkinson's Disease so bad. But, in this movie, he was walking and he even flipped over a counter! Weird!

That is really, really weird!!

Nothing weird about it. "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World" was made in 1963, not 1983. Jim Backus, Spencer Tracy, and Phil Silvers were all very much alive in 1963.

My favorite comedy movie!

"It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World" is one of the classic comedies of all time! Just about every comedy star in the business appeared in this film: Jimmy Durante, Sid Ceasar, Edie Adams, Dick Shawn, Mikey Rooney, Buddy Hackett, Eddie "Rochester" Anderson, Johnathan Winters, and even The Three Stooges! (I realize I've left out a lot of names, but this will give you an idea of the kind of talent that appoeared in this film). This was one of those occaisions where just about everyone in Hollywood WANTED to be in this movie - and just about everybody was!

what is the movie about? My bro said that the new movie rat race was like a newer version of it.

In my opinion they ruined it ON VHS after the first 1981 Magnetic Video release!!

I have part 1 but I cant find part 2!! (Magnetic video part 2)
