It's Sunday night now (nearly 9pm in Scotland) so what kind of weekend did you guys have?
I had a great weekend. I'm really, really happy and I just have to share this with someone:

I went out with my mate Kirsty on Friday night. I haven't seen her in ages cos she lives in Aberdeen now but she was down in Glasgow for the weekend. We met up and went to the QMU together and I came out and told her I'm gay. I've never told another person face-to-face before and I was really scared but her reaction was amazing! She'd known all along and was so cool about it. Her friends were cool with it too. I walked into the QMU to meet her friends and that's the first time I have walked into a room full of people I didn't know without someone laughing or calling me a name. It was such a liberating experience! I wonder now why I was so scared of telling people all these years.
Kirsty's gone back to Aberdeen now so I probably won't see her for a while. We've been talking about me going up there to stay with her for a while and we can visit some gay bars and stuff. I'm really looking forward to that.
I feel a lot more confident now. I've made up my mind to tell my other friend, Emma, about me. I don't know how she'll take it but, for the first time, I don't feel scared about admitting it.
Before she left Kirsty gave me some magazines with information about support groups for young gay people in my area and I think I might go to some of them. I really feel like I'm making progress with my life now and none of it would have ever happened if I hadn't agreed to go out with Kirsty on Friday night.

Basically I'm just really bloody happy!

It's 3:45 here.... and my weekend... has been great. I've done nothing and I'm on vacation! :D

That's great news Mossopp. I love those people who accept you for who you are and don't judge you just because of one difference in you.

I was sick all weekend. Day 15. Maybe I'll recover and join the living world sometime soon. Like the whole town is sick, it's unbelievable. Oh well...

I'm bloody bored. (I'm not trying to mock Lorna, but the word is appropriate.) I've been out of my house twice this weekend, and that was to shovel snow. I have not done a damn thing. It's getting to me.

Wow thats really great. Glad to hear you had a good time. The only thing I did this weekend was go over to my moms house. She is having the whole place remodeled and I went over to see how they were coming along. BTW Mossopp what is a QMU?

The QMU is the Queen Margaret Union - it's a place in Glasgow where university and college students can meet up and have a few drinks and play pool and stuff. I'm not a student but I was allowed in because I was with Kirsty and she is a student.

Mine was okay, I watched Miss Congeniality, Legally Blonde and Sweet Home Alabama and I chatted with a person I really :heart:

well it's 2:53 here in Nebraska and I had a great weekend friday evening I went and had a sleepover with a couple of my friends and we watched movies played tons of foosball and we also played with my friends karaoke machine. Then on Saturday after I came home I went to work and that was fun every friday night at work we have a contest to see who can guess the names of the songs on the radio first and I won last night finally. And today I'm just relaxing watching the Daytona 500 and flipping during the comercails to the dog show on cable and I don't have school tommorow because of winter break YA! So this has been a great weekend.

Wasnt bad. Just stayed home and relaxed like usual.

Well its 4:05 now and I had a really good weekend for the most part. I got to hang out with some friends and we went to the Holdrege basketball game on Friday but that didn't turnout well, then the basketball game scheduled for Saturday got snowed out. I'm just watching the Daytona 500 waiting for it to start up again I hope it turns out to be a night race that would be exciting. Overall its been a good weekend.

for the most part this weekend sucked.

Saturday: I went to the Anti War Protest for most of the day. When I came back, my friends called me to go out, but I was so sore I didn't move from my bed for the entire night.

Sunday: I gave my little brother his weekly swimming lessons. Made him cry, felt really bad about it so I took him out for breakfast. Came back, showered and such. Decided I was going to make lunch for my boyfriend. Went to A&P to buy stuff except had to evacuate the building because of a fire (It burned down CVS pharmacy next door). Never did make lunch. So we ate chips and watched Back to the Future. He left twenty mins ago and here I am. I'll prb go to my friend's party later tonight.

My weekend was ******, as usual. Nothing new.

Well, I've been a grouch-arse for the past couple of days, but I guess I have my reasons, lol. Friday was Valentine's Day, wasn't it? Well, it went pretty well. I got some stuff & somebody got me roses that I picked up at school. One thing I got was a big plush crocadile w/ hearts all over him. I don't know who got me the flowers but I'm thinking it was my ex bf (barf) I can't stand him but he gets (probably steals) me flowers every Valentines but he never tries to contact me or anything! I also worked that evening & mom came in to shop & talk to me a lil bit. I was doing pretty good & there's hardly anyone else there at night, sO I was glad I had mom to keep me compnay. The store closes at 8 & there were people still coming in at five til!!! ARGH, that makes me mad!!:mad: They were getting big-assed carts of food too, then some teachers from my school came in and wouldn't leave so we started turning the lights off I was soo tired & a box of bags fell when Mrs. Jones came to my register & I said, "SH*T!" & she got onto me for cussing when she cusses in from of me all of the time & it's not like I was at school! I told her I was tired & I wasn't at school & that I'll say whatever I want & who says sh*t is a bad word anyway!?

Saturday- I wasn't supposed to work but I had to come in aand work 3-8. I was grouchy!!! Bonnie was gonna let Lori go home early, but she couldn't for some reason so I said Hell yeah, let me go home, so I got to leave at 7. I didn't have a ride home until 8, so Bonnie (the manager) drove me home. I got wrote up at work for having $30 under in foodstamps in my drawer from fri. night... Damn foodstamps!!!!:mad: My cousin had to get me to sign the paper & she said it happened to all of them. That ticked me off though! People just rip their stamps out & throw them at me & we're actually supposed to pull them out, but they don't invorce rules where I work.

Today, we had a bad ice storm!!!! omg, the power kept going off & popping on. Finally it went off for 5 hours. Like no one in WV had power today & the roads are really slick. The poer keeps trying to go off again. The good things are that I didn't have to work today & there's no school tommorrow!! :) My cousin called from work saying that I didn't have to come in unless the power came back on. It's so weird outside b/c there's ice on everything & you can walk ontop of the snow & you leave no footprints. I was also supposed to work on an outline for a research paper over the weekend, but I'm not doing it til tomorrow.

And Mossop, I'm glad you are happy & had a good weekend. :p I'm never happy. People think that I am, but actually I can't stand anything anymore!

Today we went to Jersey to see my cousins and stuff. We drove home in a blizzard. How does that sound.

Mine's pretty good, Four day weekends rock, i'm gonna hate going back to work on tuesday. I'm finally getting some cleaning done. So why am I on here? I need a break..actually this is my second break in 5 minutes.

Friday, I took the bus into Albany and bought some flowers and some chocolate covered strawberries. Came home, had lunch, watched a movie and then just kinda relaxed the whole weekend.

This weekend has been the best ever for me. I'm now on vacation, I got a girlfriend and I just feel like I'm on top of the world! lol :D

I've had a pretty good weekend.

Mine was pretty good...Manda came over and we talked to Caitlin for 2 hours....yep.

Yesterday we celebrated my grandmas birthday and had a crapload of family members at our house
today I just sat and vegged cause I dont feel good

Mine was good! I went to a night parade last night, & the beach during the day. Friday I just relaxed.. um, today I saw The Hours again. Brilliant movie!!!! :D

I have had the BEST weekend!!! Why??? MY CUZIN'S GETTING MARRIED!!!!!!!! I'M SOOOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He proposed on Valentine's Day *tear tear*

Well today I feel a whole lot better but I almost passed out last night. I got off the net like at 4 or 5 my time because I was a little dizzy. I started to take some cough syrup and such and by 9, my bones ached, my whole body ached, and I couldn't move at all. That's when I noticed the cough medicine I was taking was like 20% alcohol. No wonder I couldn't walk straight. :rolleyes: Oh well, maybe I'll be able to go back to school tomorrow. My whole weekend ruined.......

I despise that feeling. Ever since I passed out in class a couple years a go, I think I've been screwed up ever since. I was dizzy Thursday AND Friday.

And then I got a goddamn D+ on my Grammar test. :mad:

well, my weekend was great.. i went out on a blind date on Friday (in the spirit of Valentines day i agreed) and we really hit it off, and went out again on Saturday night, talked a little on sunday, and we have plans to get together on Thrusday, he's really awesome. so that kinda made my weekend.
