Is it snowing where you're at????

Here at my house there is a fine snow falling and it looks really nice but 20 minutes away at my fiance's they've got sleet and ice. It's weird how mother nature works.

Not here, it's just frigidly cold.

Anxiously awaiting the snow here in NYC. I've battened down the hatches and stocked up on half price Valentine's chocolate.

Yes, it's been snowing and blowing for the last two days (since Friday night.)

Snow?????? We had some once many many years ago. For about ten minutes or so. We even had a mini-mini-snowdrift of about 1/2-inch against the brick fence. We all came out of our apartments and stared at it in wonder. :lol:

Oh... I live in a Los Angeles beach community, so that itty-bitty touch of snow is enormous. ;)

I snowed here about 2 weeks ago but it only lasted for a couple of days. It's been getting slightly warmer recently so I don't think we'll be getting anymore snow this year.

No , not right now but it is super cold here.

Its not snowing right now, But we have like 15-20 Inches leftover from last week.

We're supposed to get about a foot of snow here...yay :rolleyes:

it dont snow much in Alabama, and when it does only like an inch or two, i think the most ive seen is 3

Yeah its sleeting and we got like an inch of ice. It is pretty messy here in Eastern KY. Alot of trees down and power lines down. We got our electric back about 8 this morning. Several trees hit my gerandparents house and tore the electric of the line. It looks like a war zone at their house. Their house has a lot of damage to it.

Me too. Just in our county alone 6,000 people have no power. We are one of the lucky ones to have our power back on but it has been flickiring on and off for the past 2 hours.

im in "good ol' PA" also, and theyre now predicting 20-30 inches....

there are at least 18 on the ground now and it aint stopping soon...

Thats good that your electric hasn't went out yet. I just feel sorry for the people who have no electric that has no heat on a cold night lile this. My grandparents who live beside of us have had no electric for almost 24 hours.

I'm stuck in my apartment, two feet of snow is expected to fall in the city, and the only thing worth watching on TV is a "Battlestar Galactica" marathon on Sci-Fi.

Yep, It's still snowing. It started around 9am this morning.

Ah. I barely escaped being stuck and stranded at work yesterday. It was snowing furiously. The roads were piled with snow and conditions were blinding as it was next to impossible to differenciate the road from the side of the road-- it was all snow. Luckily, my parents have an SUV that they came to pic me up in. But, the other staff hadn't arrived and I couldn't leave until backup came. My parents went back home, saying they'd try to come back and get me when more staff came and I could be releived. However, the harsh reality was if more staff didn't come soon, I might be stuck there for a couple days. (Ack!) Luckily, someone came in to relieve me and I made it home. When I woke up today, I discovered that the snow is up taller than the bottom of out doorway, vehicles are burried, and it looks like we'll be here for some time. I do feel sorry for those who might still be stuck at work.

*LOL* Well, I have really dark colored dogs, so they don't get lost in it (shadow's completely black, so she stands out in the all white banks of snow). But, I stand at the window and laugh at them trying to wade through it. It's up past their stomachs, so it looks like they're swimming when they walk. It's so cuuttteee! :D

It finally stopped snowing here. Tomorrow it's supposed to be warm enough for some of the snow to melt. It's about freaking time!

It seems like it has snowed non-stop here in Massachusetts since last Christmas. It's snowing like crazy right now. It's also been brutally cold the past month or so. I'm sick of this weather :crying: I can't wait for spring.

It stopped snowing here a while ago. There are 6-feet mountains on the curbs. I think I'm gonna throw myself into one later. Just hope there isn't a car underneath. ;) This should be fun. :D

We had a bad snow storm on Monday Night it was a blizzard and I got snowed in LOL it was terrible..I wish winter will go away and spring will come faster hehe!
