What do you think about him as owner of the New York Yankees. Is he a good owner or is he pure evil?

George is without a doubt one of the most colorful owners in baseball history. Baseball fans who have grown up in the New York City area have been hearing his name for years.
Personally, I think he's okay. His style may be too hands on compared to most team owners, but he likes to keep his team winning.
I think he may get some flack for his recent criticism of Jeter, but George has always nagged his players. He used to criticize Reggie Jackson all the time.
I hope the Yanks bring home a penant this season. I would hate to be on Steinbrenner's bad side.

I guess I must put aside my despise of them though and say this much, the man has to be doing something right. He's the one with the rings.

I honest wouldnt be able to stand him, at some level I would be happy that he is bringing in all these big guns, but mainly I wouldnt like it and if we won a title it would make me feel bad becausae we payed our way for because that is not how the game was suppose to be played, but in all honest I think he is one sick dog
