According to the TV Guide Website, TBS is about to start back over with episode #1 of Gilligan's Island at the end of this week. I haven't watched it on TBS in quite a while however, so I was hoping somebody who has could answer a question for me.

Is TBS still airing Ted Turner's 'Colorized' versions of the first season episodes, or have they gone back to showing the original B&W ones again? Also, does anybody out there have the 'colorized' ones on tape? I've got all the episodes from N@N, but I'd like to tape the color versions of the first series episodes as well.

They still show the colorized episodes from the first season. I taped on that channel because I had to use my dad's vcr and he usually taped things at night and Gilligan's Island came on nick-at-nite at night so I had to tape from TBS and that channel colorizes the episodes from the first season that were originally in black and white. I like the first season the way it orinally was, I don't like it colorized but at least I have the episodes taped, kinda out of order but they are taped. Both channels both have like some senes that are missing from the other channel so it's like I missed some parts to some episodes because some parts are on nick-at-nite that don't show on TBS but I've seen most of the episodes on nick-at-nite before they put it on so early in the morning, like 2:00AM where I live.

Oh and does anyone know the episode where Gilligan describes what his father looks like? I've seen every episode but I watched some from nick-at-nite before they changed the times and I taped the episodes from TBS, and I saw in the Gilligan's Island book called: The Unoffical Gilligan's Island Handbook that it was said in an episode that Gilligan explained what his father looks like. Does anyone know what episode it is or can anyone like explained the episde if you don't know the title. Thanks http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif
