RollerGirl 02-13-2003, 05:24 PM What do you do when the world and everything in it is testing your last nerve? Do you lash out or put walls up? Do you need meds? Do you not need meds, but wish you had some anyway? :lol: Do deep breaths help? Does counting to ten work? A long walk? A hot bath? Chocolate?! What do you do?

for a little bit of stress- bubble baths, candles, gwtw soundtrack, and chocolate mousse, lol
sometimes dancing or going for a run will help too.
for big time stress- aromatherapy helps me a lot. i have meds for when i get really bad but i havent had to use them for awhile now which is great.
Moonlight Lady 02-13-2003, 05:47 PM When i'm stressed, I need to be left alone. I can't deal with anybody when I feel that way. A lot of times, coming here calms me down. I read the posts, reply to them and I feel better.
That Whine complain thread works wonders. Sometimes I wish I had some meds though. Very rarely does it get that bad for me.

If it's in general, or school, whatever, I get in my bitchy sarcastic mood. I'll blare my music very loud and go cry up on my bed and write morbid poetry, or I'll go talk to Miss D.

Tuesday Weld 02-13-2003, 10:51 PM I don't deal with stress very well at all - and I have an anxiety disorder.I take meds,but they really aren't that helpful.I get very mean and cross with people,when I'm stressed.I guess I like to be alone when I'm really stressed:argue:

When I get stressed I sometimes go into a "depressed" mode.
If the stress piles on all at once, there is always a "last straw" and I usually just laugh because I can't comprehend such a thing is happening. This all usually happens with loads of school work and pressure from parents or friends to get something done. There's just a point where I can't take it anymore and it all comes surreal and I block it all out by just laughing with stupidity.

But if someone is pissing me off ON PURPOSE,i might not hesitate to show them I am mad..
