Well, see. I am a quiet student in class and my assistant teacher keeps getting on my case on socializing. Okay, I have this game for PS2 for Suikoden III and I was finding the character's name in the dictionary and the assistant teacher wanted me to join them. I just went up there, but had nothing to say and I felt stupid. (and plus I didn't have that much to eat anyway.) Last week I had a conversation with someone, but she probably didn't see. I see other people in my class oing there own thing. I sorta hated that I was forced to talk out of my own will. I really didn't have anything to say because I didn't have much to eat anyway (It's just one of those days) It was a free period. I talk when I feel like it. I sit with my classmates at lunch and I jump in i something is funny. All I have to say is that this teacher kinda needs to back the heck off and let me be my own person. Well, that's kinda who I am. I think it's kinda stupid since I am in High School. So what should I do?

(And P.S) This happened in my other class too, but I still chated.)

I hate when teachers try to stick their noses in your business. I had this teacher who always put you in groups w/your non-friends so you would socialize more. Well, guess what? If you're like me, you get stuck w/intimidating people and you talk even less.

You need to tell that teacher to mind their own freaking business. Tell them it makes you feel stupid when you have nothing to say.

Dearie...come sit down. Have some tea. I know EXACTLY what that's like. My 7th grade teacher was the biggest bitch ive ever met cuz she treated me the same way and tried to force me to do **** i didnt wanna do. I was a lil quiet and she did the same thing to me. She thot i was shy and had no friends and had gayass talk w/ me about it, telling me to speak my mind and talk to ppl and ****. She also literally tried to force me to be a cheerleader 1 day...believe me, my reaction was NOT pretty. I showed her disrespect thruout the whole year cuz she obviously didnt like me either and pissed me the **** off when she tried to help me w/ dumbass crap like that, and she got the message that i hated the hell outta her.

Neways, the solution...u gotta have an attitude. Thats what i did and it sure as hell worked. For example if my teacher told me to go talk to certain ppl right then, i wouldve flatout said "no." if she argued, i would argue back and say something like "I DONT WANNA!" U dont need to yell and cuss and be really mean but as long as ur teacher gets the message. If u dont wanna talk to those ppl, u dont have to. Believe me, did things like that and it worked. so good luck :)

You hit the mark. I like working in groups if I'm working with people I know/people I'm friends with. Believe me, I hated working in groups if the teacher arranges the groups. Like you said, I always ended up with slackers that didn't do their share of the work. Oh yeah, I would get stuck with people that I couldn't stand.

I know how you feel. I had elementary teachers like that. Since I was a quiet kid and still am quiet, but not as quiet as when I was a little kid, the teachers would always wonder why I never talked. Well, I talked to people all the time out of class, so that's why they probably didn't see me talk. It's better in the city than the town I used to live in, though. I felt like teachers wouldn't get off my back there. In fact, in grade 12 now when the teachers don't bother you unless you ask for help, I swear, I absolutely love the independence. Grade 12 has been my best year of high school ever. Who cares if I'm quiet.

Tell her that you only talk when you have something important to say, unlike some unecessary jibber-jabber. Tell her to stop flapping her gums and mind her own business.
