I cant pick one favorite I like the Gilligan, Mr.Howle, and of course the professor(without him the rest would have been in trouble!)

Mary Annn was such a cute, and harmless character.

Definitely the professor, he was always sweet and gentlemenly and he saved their butts tons of times.

The professor. I agree with Lliizzyy, the professor was the indispensible character. The castaways would never have survived without his knowledge. He wasn't power hungry. He never threatened the authority of the Skipper.

The Prof. He's the best. Also the cutest by far!

Mary Ann (one of the most attractive T.V. characters of all time) and the Professor (added a much needed serious side to G.I.).

I really have three favorites they are the Professor because without him they would really be in trouble, Mary Ann because she is very nice and friendly and she can make nice coconut creme pies, and Gilligan because he is also very nice and he is a good friend and he could play checkers very well and if I was on the island we could play checkers because I am a good checkers player too. (The episode I see him playing checkers against the skipper and he is winning is episode #64- "Allergy Time".) http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif

The Professor all the way!!!! He's the main reason why I decided to watch Gilligan's Island all over again last summer (I grew up in the 80's and saw it on reruns then....). After last summer I haven't been keeping up with it though http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/frown.gif

Mary-Ann had helped the gang very much more than the professor She was the only won who knew how to cook!
Look at it:
They got in sientific problems about half of the series run BUT they had to eat 3 meals a day everyday!
Mary Ann made a book for cookers
The Prof. didn't make a sientific manuel
He would have made a much much much much much much more help if he fixed the hole in the boat.
So I would like to honer Dawn Wells because she was the only alive castaway who went over to Cancun Mexico for MTV's Spring Break and every time they went to commercial for ALL the shows they had at least one "What Would Mary-Ann Do?" advice segment
so put it this way MaryAnn Sommers is much better than Professor Roy Hinkley.
Oh and she looked a whole lot better then and now!

Hey, I'm entitled to my opinion, and I choose the professor as my favorite. Well, I can't help it either- he was hot! Maybe ppl of the male gender will disagree with me and will pick Mary Ann or Ginger, but I think differently.
