you dont own the copyright of the photo's, move on.

i didn't say she stole the photo... i said the avatar. i cut, pasted, cropped, and bordered it. and, i cut out a guy's arm out of the backround. and she has no right stealing it... so, u can stay out of it now...

If you didn't want anybody else to chime in, you should have PM'd her instead of creating this thread.

I could say the same about you. What site did you get your pictures from? I am sure Avril copyright's them...so I assume you wrote her personal assistant's asking for written documentation stating you could use them? actually, i bought the pictures from ebay. they're snapshots from a concert.

If you just bought the photo itself it still doesn't mean you own the copyright to the photo unless you have documentation from the seller stating that, plus the original negatives.

That's right. If you go back a few pages on the chit chat board theres a thread called "To Shane West's Angel" and its about Dorothy's siggy. And then see then that's where I saw my two collages I made. And yes I was a little bit mad at first because she didn't ask me but after awhile I got over it........

Well, I guess JD#1 could've asked to use the pictures. Maybe she just thought nobody would mind. It's kind of embarassing if you borrow something and somebody calls you on it. Maybe she just saved the pic to her computer and by the time she loaded it up as her avatar, she forgot who had the original pic.

I don't know. I'm split down the middle on this case. She could've asked. Like I said before, maybe she thought she could use the pic and nobody get pissed at her.
