Does anyone out there have additional info. on motorcyclist Michael Hunter who was murdered in Emityville, California in Feb. 1992?

Just saw this story on YouTube.

I see 2 possibilities.

1. He was an innocent victim of an attempted robbery.

2. He was specifically targetted. If this is the case, he must have been followed by the killer, and was attacked when they were alone. A motive for this outcome would be the fact that he was a racer. He could have been targetted by a jealous opponent a la Nancy Kerrigan/Tonya Harding.
