I dunno what my motto is. I have a few rules that I live by -

* never think you know a person cos you can never understand the workings of someone elses mind
* trust noone
* It's better to have never loved at all than to have loved and lost

Make new friends, but keep the old, the new ones are silver, the old ones are gold.

well, probably my favorite quote:

"Nothing worth having comes without some fight, you've got to kick at the darkness till it bleeds daylight"

and

"Trains start and stop, thats why we need people for when nothing is for always"

and

"Tomorrow is another day"

heres mine: laugh and the world laughs with you ..cry and you cry alone.

Those are all pretty good. Here are some of my favorites:
