WHAT THE ARTICLE SAYS:

Columbia celebrates law-and-order, Seventies-style. The Greatest 70's Cop Shows will feature episodes of Charlie's Angels, S.W.A.T., Starsky & Hutch, The Rookies, and Police Woman. Note that the first three of these are seeing modern remakes coming, and this is a great way to tie into the originals that made these characters famous.

List price will be $19.95. At 252 minutes, this will be single episodes of each of these shows, which are all 1-hour dramas. English language-only (in original mono sound, and with closed captioning), you can assume the position - in line at the register - on May 6th.

Too bad Universial doesn't do their own version with Adam-12, Dragnet, & Emergency!

I've been told that the Starsky Hutch's Savage Sunday episode will on this DVD.

Also worth noting, to coincide with this summer's big screen S.W.A.T. remake, Columbia Pictures will release on June 3rd the 12 first season episodes of the original TV series in a DVD three disc set.
