Ok, [ in The Mechanic] I never understood why he said "Its on the house" referring to Richies haircut. Umm.. I believe Richie didnt want/need one, so obviously he volunteered. Did he plan on charging or something?!? Yah, leave a tip.. but charging?! Makes no sense to me LOl. This has ALWAYS bugged me.

He said it for the same reason he did everything else. He was pissed and had a chip on his shoulder. It was probably the first thing that came into his head.

True. I wonder how much he wouldve charged. Because you know, Richies hair was *so short*

I always wondered why he went with that hairstyle. Letting it grow out so much on the sides when he was thinning on top! Shoulda kept those sides shorter!

My only real issue with the show (as is with any period show) there are so many modern (which would be mid-late 70s) elements within the scope of the "nostalgic" atmosphere. Some of the hairstyles (Joanie, Ralph), some of the clothing and how it fit, just certain non-50s styles incorporated into the show (of course that's bias because I'm sure nostaligic shows today do incorporate some aspects of modernity). I think that's part of the charm of Happy Days though!

Anyway, what I was getting at (yup, I had a point!)--I was looking at Richie's hair the other day and noticing how long it was in the back at certain points (mostly the ones they're showing on TVLand now, 8 I think) and how that was sort of 70s.

Tangent over! (Sorry:crazy: )
