Shirley comes in, carrying a couple of grocery bags. Lenny comes teetering in after her, nearly falls down the steps, and sets his bags down on the kitchen/living room divider counter thing.

Shirl: Thanks, Len.
Lenny: No problem, Shirl. I had nuttin' better ta do, anyway. Squig's visitin' his mom.
Shirl: Oh really?
Lenny: Yeah. He said the she was all blubberin' on the phone so he went over there like she asked. Just ta keep her quiet, ya know?
Shirley: Yeah, I guess. Well thanks again, Len.

She hands him fifty cents. He leaves.
