The Professor. He *is* very smart and stopped the others from killing themselves by going in the boat in the episode with the ghost. And he's really reasonable and knows what he's doing.

Professor of course! Same reason I have always given. He is the most reasonable and always finds the solution to their problems!

Boring? Boring! He isn't really boring. He's even sometimes funny. Do you remember the "I'm a bat" thing from "Eye of the idol". He may not do phisical comedy much, but there is some verbal humor.

Yes i have to say the Professot because he is so cool and does say alot of funny stuff.

Well, I'd have to go with Mr. Howell. In fact, I'm beginning to like him better than Gilligan. He's greedy, yes. Conniving, sure. But he's hilarious. The greediness just makes him funnier. And I love how he gets so proud of himself after he does something easy or so heartbroken if someone doesn't care that he did it, and I love his teddy bear!

Professer FUNNY! ha he may cracka joke here or there but i wouldnt put him in the Funny list all he does is sit there hes reliable but hes not funny
Mr Howell is funnier than The professer
and skipper is just plain......

I mean I still like the Professor the best, but the Skipper isn't really a bad person. Look at it this way, he may yell at Gilligan and get mad at him, but he does forgive him in the end. He *is* Gilligan's friend and helps him and whenever Gilligan does something stupid and almost kills himself, you can see the skipper is very concerned. He's a nice guy with a very short temper.

The professor throws in alot of really funny humor that you really have to listen for. But of course if you arent paying attention (You should always pay attention when the pro is around!) you won't catch it! Know what I mean pro_fan?

I'd like to change that, I've changed my mind to the Proffeser!!!

I pick the professor, he's cute and smart.

The Professor of course! He was always kind and gentlemenly and he did insert alot of humor into the show , he just wasnt as loud and obvious as some of the others.(And he constantly saved the other castaways from everthing!) Mr. Howell is a close second!

I would have to say the skipper

I would have to say ,Skipper, because he would be an ok guy and anyway he yells at Gilligan alot he really loves him and you can tell and really is his little buddy. He would also be funnier than ,Professor, though he would be next to Skipper for second. Mr Howell, really is like third on this list of my favorite of the men characters but if Gilligan was one of the names in this post it would be in this order:
1. Gilligan
2. Skipper
3. Professor
4. Mr. Howell

It would be like that because Gilligan is much funnier and his just so nice, and always tries his best anyway he messes up, and he's just so loveable. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif

The Skipper was hilarious.Fantastic in physical comedie.That what I like about that show.It must been very hard for him with his weight and height.Like when he fell down,it was always gracefull.

My second choice would be Thurston Howell III.I like his sense of humour..."If you were a republican would be perfect"

The professor:He's the hunk of the show,he's really handsome.In my opinion,he was funnier in the dream sequences.In the vampire,Dr.Jeckell and Mr.Hyde,Gilligan and the Beanstalk.

Skipper. He had awesome strength and a great sense of humour. Seeing him as someone's mother in a dream and talking in a high voice was priceless.

The Professor

The Professor. We both have analytical minds. If I were stuck on that island I would (after romancing Mary Ann, of course) have some serious discussions with the professor on Geology, Meteorology, Oceanography, Seismology, Astronomy, Health, etc. I even told that to Russell Johnson when I met him about one year ago. I said that the "professor" and I would enjoy talking about these subjects (he smiled when I said that).
