View Full Version : where do you buy your blank tapes and how much do they norm.. cost ALF's #1 Fan 02-09-2003, 06:09 PM I buy mine at walmart and they norm.. cost like 10 dollers for 10 tapes. TV Favorites 02-09-2003, 06:21 PM The same as you. I get a 10 pack for ~ $9. MidnightRose21498 02-09-2003, 06:34 PM I like ato use 8 hour tapes the best and the best deal I can get them for is a 7 pack of 8 hour TDK tapes for $10.99 at Target. Anyone know of any better deals on 8 hour tapes? TVJunkie101 02-09-2003, 08:38 PM I usually get a 12 pack. 6 6 hour tapes, 6 8 hour tapes, for like 12 bucks, or so. I'd like just a nice full 10 pack of 8 hour tapes, but I use the 6 hour tapes as masters until I can put the shows without commercials onto an 8 hour tape, and I also usually will use the 6 hours for trades. I buy them at Wal-Mart. bb25 02-12-2003, 11:18 PM I usually buy mine from Walgreens or Target, but I buy them from other places alot too. It varies. Target is the only place to buy Panasonic brand, which I like, and it's usually $3.99 for a 3-pack of 6 hours, or $4.69 or so for a 3-pack of 8 hours. I don't usually buy in bulk though. I like to buy single tapes, and Walgreens always has weekly coupon sales for $.99 for single Sony, TDK & Maxell tapes...and there's usually a limit of 6...also, ABC Warehouse has RCA single 6-hour tapes for $.69 limit 50, but I never buy that brand...I also recently purchased a couple single JVC 6-hour tapes from Sears, the only blank JVC tape retailer I know of... |
