MY favorite is Gilligan!I love him!

I love Gilligan!
He's funny and he's soooooooo sweet!
He's so good with animals but you cant trust him to take care of babies!
And he would do anything for the castaways!
And i love Bob Denver.
Especially as Maynard G. Krebs!

I prefer the Skipper. He was the original Homer Simpson (not an episode went by without skipper saying "DOH!"), and I think I would have to beat the heck out of Gilligan after like the 10th time he screwed up our chances of getting of fthe island.

Gilligan was my favorite. Think about it, if you were on that island you would prefer the humorous lovable one, rather than the Skipper who wasn't very useful.

Skipper all the way a gentle and kinda man as well as funny and tough!!!
Alan hale was a very nice man...

The day that Alan Hale died, some classmates and I in Mr. Welk's Psychology class dedicated a desk to the Skipper's memory and engraved his name and birth/death dates on the bottom of the desk. It was the Skipper Memorial Desk, and it was a shrine to us. Just thought I'd share that with everyone!

The reason why Gilligan screws up is part of the show. If they were rescued the show would end.
He may seem like an idiot on the show but he is very intelligent. He was a high school teacher before he became Maynard G. Krebs.

Well now, let's look at the facts... Gilligan WAS quite an idiot. No one claimed that Bob Denver himself was anything less than a genius! But let's put this into a real-life situation here...

If I work with a guy who is CONSTANTLY screwing up every project we work on together, I'm going to assume that he is quite stupid, and I will also end up hating him because his incompetence keeps me from succeeding. So what is it about Gilligan that makes his behavior acceptable?

I like Gilligan soo much better than the skipper.The Skipper thought he was the best and he bossed Gilligan around like he was his slave...I just thought that Skipper was rude to Gilligan.Gilligan was sweet and he would do anything for the castaways. ô¿ô

I did see that ep gilliganlover196! It was funny you are right! And good point Silentbri! Bob Denver doesn't have to be stupid. Gilligan's character was kinda stupid but what made it acceptable I think was that he was just like kinda innocent. Get what I mean? I mean he wasn't like stupid on purpous. You dig what I'm sayin?

I like all of them, but the Professor is still my favorite one. But, if I had to chose between Gilligan and the Skipper, I would chose Gilligan. he might mess up a lot, but he does mean well.

That's true. He did have the show named for him and I think without him in the show the show wouldn't be on because without him messing up the rescues the show would have ended or their wouldn't have been a show. I think Gilligan is so funny and I would really like to meet the star of the show Bob Denver. He really played Gilligan so funny and bumbling.Gilligan really meant well and was very nice and so loveable. I like Gilligan because he had a heart and always meant well. Skipper had a heart too, but he was so uptight.
