Hi!

Of the seven months on this board, I have had many successful trades! I would like to give everyone the opportunity to announce their best trader! I have had about five that fit into that category, but I'll just list one right now. Please post the people who have given you a wonderful trading experience!

One of my best trades ever was from Shawn (TV Junkie 101)—KryptonMan101@aol.com—and when I received the packages, the tapes were new (unusual; I have done trades where people had to put a label on top of five more labels to tell me what's on the tape!) and he had a list that told me exactly what was on which tape... he even included the episode numbers and left notes (i.e. "no commercials").

Have any of you had a good trade like that? I am now trying to change a few things (like including the labels that came witht the tapes...)... I like labels, okay? I also try my best to list the episodes, but sometimes I have a show that I'm not too familiar with, and I got it in a trade, and the trader didn't leave the names of the episodes... and it's SLP.... T-180... so I've got to print out an episode guide for the entire series, and fast-forward through 9 hours of a TV show where (half the time) I have no idea what they're doing.... enough about me, though... Have any of you ever had an EXCELLENT trade?

Wow, thanks guys, lol. I just try to make things handy for everyone, you know, that way it saves the person the time of going through the tape, determining what's on it, etc. I don't use those labels that come with the tapes so thats basically why I leave them in the box, lol.

I've been trading about a year now. I've never once had an overall bad trade (sure, I've gotten some crappy quality tapes). I'll try to go into specifics later, I'll just list who I've had good trades with.

Sam Malone - Eric - Great quality, fast and overall good trade.

Solomon (I never got tapes from, he got them from me, but it was a good transaction)

ChildStars (a lot of rare finds)

MidnightRose - Angela

Third Watch Fan (The quality on the tapes for our first trade weren't very good, but after that, I've gotten Rhoda and Diff'rent Strokes and they were pretty good quality). He's definitely fast in getting the tapes done and out in the mail.

Russell Poston (can't remember his user name)

Matt Mason (mashunter18)

TRACYQUARTERMAIN (Eric #2) - GREAT trader. If you're looking for a lot of ORIGINAL Golden Girls episodes, he's the person to talk to. He changed his e-mail a few months back, and I never saved it. It was that screenname @ aol.com. I'll see if I can find it.

I'm currently working on a 2nd trade with Matt, 4th trade with Kevin (ThirdWatchFan), and in the process of working out a few other trades.

I've traded so much it's hard to remember them all. Sorry if I've left anyone out.

Is there a way you can email a list or number of Jeffersons and All in the Family episodes you have. Solomond@webtv.net

I don't think Siblis trades. He just sells and the price starts at $40.00 a tape .

I can't believe that Siblis would sell tapes at $40.00, people should sell tapes at only $5.00 or $10.00, what would you think of that, by the way, I don't sell, I only trade tapes.

I think $40 is crazy. I sell usually by quality, season, rarity or $15 a tape, includes the shipping. I think it's fair since I use the best quality brand new tapes I can.

What's really crazy is when someone sells $40 a tape in SP mode . I've seen that done before.
