Does anybody know how to set-up a program timer for digital cable boxes? Because I've been trying to record "Head Of The Class"- but it won't record because the cable box doesn't automatically turn-on.

Before, when I had regular cable- I'll just set-up the timer, and then the VCR. Both of them will turn on at the same time, and perfectly record the program.


Can someone PLEASE help me? :)

Not sure if I understood your question properly, but I turn off the TV and leave the cable box on set to the channel I want to record. I haven't missed a program yet.
