I just noticed this--on the new Gilligan's Island MLife commercial, Ginger is missing. There are only 6 people on the beach (5 when the "Skipper" is up in the air). I wonder what the story is here?

lol...they probably didn't want to upset tina by using "her image." just like they made her hair white in the cartoon. stupid tina.....lol

That's a pretty good commercial.. It's good to see commercials using classic TV show themes/rip-offs 'eh.....

I used to wonder why her hair was white in the cartoons. I think I was about 7 when the first cartoon came on the air. I understand that she basically owns her own "image", but wouldn't Sherwood Schwartz own the Ginger character? Hmmm......

Yeah, I have to admit, I laughed when I first saw the commercial. It's pretty funny. But Gilligan would have probably lost the phone overboard and a fish would have eaten it, and they would have had to catch the fish and talk into it to make the phone call, LOL.
