I remember this one time during 6th grade, I didn't get the entire concept of the Pledge of Alligence, so when my teacher put her hand to her heart, I started to bug out! I thought she was having a heart attack. Nobody will ever let me live that down.

My faves so far are Frankie Avalon (because he looks so much like Potsie) and Carrol O'Conner (Archie Bunker). Archie is another of my fave characters from TVLand. He has such a big, soft heart but he hides it so well. He is skilled at giving people inferiority complexes, though.

The thing about Potsie: he seems like he is well cared for and loved, but verbally/emotionally abused. Archie would fit the desription of the father perfectly. Archie would love Potsie, but wouldn't be afraid of constantly telling him that he thinks he's well....."such a Potsie!" :lol:

I have an idea of a Don but not Don Knotts it's Anson Williams real dad Don Williams.
