I was out in California on vacation,stopped into a clothes store in Santa Monica and who was at the Register paying for a 74.99 pair of shoes....Conrad Bain. It was funny,the girl at the desk obviously did not reconize Mr. D,because she asked how to spell his last name 3 times. Finally on the third try Conrad had to spell it out rather loud B-A-I-N. I tryed to strike up a quick conversation but he said he was in a hurry. I forgot the name of the store,I have the receipt at my house. I will write back with the name.
