Wow, this was a depressing UM. :(

The segments were:

The one with the guy who dissapeared, but withdrew money from various ATM's, one of them which happened to show a face. I'm glad they found his body, but I have a sick feeling that this case will never be solved.

The Father Rolando Rivera murder case. I'm mostly intrested in this one because, with all the recent Catholic sex abuse scandals, that the murderer(s) could have been abused by either Rivera or maybe another priest which made him go off on a killing spree. Oh, how I hated when they found the missing priest's bloodstained clothes, car, and a wire.

The segment with the little girl ending up in a convience store, which she says that "mommy is in the woods", which they later found her mother's body. The father dissapeared...

Finally, the one with the woman wanting to know her past because her stepmother did not want her to find out. (sorry for not being clear on the names...)

This is one of the first times, and I have been watching UM for a long time, that a show did not have a single update (well the ATM case had an update, but I meant happy updates where the killers were caught). Also, it seems that none of these cases will ever be solved due to the lack of items. Thankfully, the show wasn't as scary as it normally is (with the execption of the face!).

I would, if there is any more, like to know about the Rivera case. It would be cool if UM could look at it into another perspective, though it's highly unlikely that it will ever be solved. :(

I watched that episode last night but I caught the last 30 minutes of it due to technical difficulties on the channel that aired the episode. There were a couple of cases I missed: the Father Rivera case and the girl left at the convienience store who said "mommy is in the woods". Could anyone explain to me about those cases? Thanks!

Those were all very old cases. That one with the guy and the ATM machine was one of the first UM episodes I ever remember watching in the 1980's. It is also one of the scariest ones.

Yes, this was an excellent episode. I too remember watching the segment regarding the ATM machine as a boy. These were the kind of episodes that made me sleep with the lights on Wednesday nights. My mother did not forbid me to watch UM even though it freaked me out, but probably only because she knew how much I loved the show. This was probably one of the best episodes UM ever produced.
